man that sequence with the lj steal looked so real. i thought they added real game footage of ray and kobe and spliced it with 2k14 footage. looks like ps4 n box1 got love. i pray 2k improves face scans 2 level of pc on ps3/360 atleast.

Just got off work, thought I'd check out some E3 stuff...HIGHLIGHT of my day so far....2K has been nothing short of amazing with the 2K series for the past few years...DAY-1 purchase just on visuals alone!!!!!!!

Yea, it looks amazing (every new iteration of the game looks great at the beginning), LeBron has facial expressions, but what about gameplay? Online associacion? Playcalling system and playbooks? Contacts in the paint? Passing? Defense? Crew?

Buying the game on DAY 1 solely on graphics is just stupid - IMO.

I think if 2k allow proper Accessorys matching , home & away shoe color way, Norris & Shump Flat tops & some how get the ESPN license from EA and add it towards their presentation hands down will be one of the most completed games ever .

No you shouldn't buy a game just on graphics, but the graphics that were shown are just jaw dropping good.

And I don't think everyone is excited JUST because of the graphics, the realism of the animations is what catches my eye.

A big knock on 2k IMO has always been the way the jerseys were just floating off of the players, that has not only been fixed, but looks amazing.

Lebron stealing the ball and Kobe reacting was so damn good, and then when LeBron was on the fast break I thought they switched to a real game, Ray Allen and Kobe looked real.

It's hard not to get excited when you see that.

Haha, as soon as I woke up this morning I was so eager to watch the trailer.

It blew me away, so funny and Lebron was just bossing.

Oh and on the graphics side of things, yes they look amazing and no that won't sway me alone. But playing 2K13, and with the next gen capabilities/new engines etc. surely it can only get better.

This is the best sports video game of all time! Nothing even comes in at a close second! Imagine if 2k was able to make an nfl football game! I think 2k sports is the best at giving the people what they really want from a sports simulation! All other sports game developers should take notes and learn from this or just simply retire!

I'm not impressed by graphics alone. That's the typical gamer move. I'll be impressed when I rent (that's right rent) my copy and assess how the game plays. Only after this will I consider giving 2k my $65, or however much the damn thing will cost. My 2k13 has been collecting dust since Nov of last year. I tried to trade it in to gamestop and they offered me a lousy $8. Listen here 2k, get the gameplay right. When I'm playing your so-called basketball sim it shouldn't feel like hockey. I don't care about the celebrations, and players ability to fall into the crowd etc. I want to feel like I'm in control of my players and team, and I don't feel that with 2k13. I need quick controler response, and crisp movements. And remove the stupid momentum crap for crying out loud. That is all.

Game looked great. I'm excited for sure, but I caution people:

I've seen a lot of "2K14 + PS4" posts in this thread, yet people need to understand that many cross-plat games were graphically inferior on PS3, including 2k11-13. And a lot of times things like custom soundtracks wouldn't work as well. All I'm saying is be careful and thoughtful about which console you choose as a sports gamer. Lot's of sports games had issues on PS3. This is coming from a PS3-only guy (I could only afford one system or the other) who felt that having the Show was a fair trade off.
