Now am I wrong or were we told some next gen info will surface in late September?

We are drawing close here..... I personally think 2K will keep their word because they love their fans and a loaded with integrity with this sort of thing.....(haha I feel like Bart trying to stall Sideshow Bob with flattery)

But seriously, things will have to be surfacing very soon! I CANT WAIT TO BE BLOWN AWAY!!!!

Off topic, I am rooting for Live (nothing would be better than having 2 amazing NBA games) but I have a feeling 2K are going to BLOW US AWAY and completely take over this race aswell in typical 2K fashion (based on past history)....... the next gen war is about to get real!!!!

Ugh. September is dwindling away. Thought we'd get some info by the end of the month. But there's still several days left, so maybe it wasn't something proven untrue.

These last few days of the month are going by horribly slow waiting on some next gen news. Id take a new screenshot of anything in next gen 2k14 at this point.

Why would they release next gen info a week before CG is released? Wouldn't make sense for them.

I'd say it would be safe to assume we will see something within the next two weeks

From a marketing perspective it makes no sense for them to release NG info before CG is out.

Not if w/in the info they let peeps know that they can upgrade their CG to NG for X amount.

Then peeps thinking about holding out, might buy, peeps thinking about just getting CG now and waiting for NG15 might buy sooner.

Yea it might not make sense but it was what they said they would do. But at this point im guessing late September meant September 30th.

I could be wrong in my opinion, but the way I see things, the casual gamer isn't on message boards reading about game features. The casual gamer is looking at graphics and dunks.

I've noticed through the years that when 2K releases a trailer, "we" all tend to pick out the subtle nuances of gameplay additions that most casuals overlook because they're looking at the top layer - graphics.

So with next gen looming around the corner, a lot of casual gamers may hold out for that based solely on the Reveal Trailer looking better than current gen. Because to many, better graphics = better game. I think releasing next gen info can only help the sale of next gen and not necessarily hurt current gen.
