Re: Is there a way to get the computer to sub more?

ok, for an example on the celtics I started Pierce as SG and Davis as a SF. When I play against them during the game the CPU constantly subs them for the same position. I call time out Pierce goes in for Davis, few seconds later a foul or so. Here comes Davis right back for Pierce. Houston Cato a C playing PF Yao a C same thing. It is like that a lot with most teams so prove me wrong. You can even dig up some stuff a while back about people trying to figure out a way to stop it on here, and ESPN video games champ.....

People sub in for another person but also shifting in the lineup does occur. Just the other day vs Denver, they had Jon and Vashon at the guards. Jon running the 1. Whenever they make subs, then go to the matchups screen. You will see.
      Concrete evidence/videos please

Re: Is there a way to get the computer to sub more?

I see different line ups come in from the bench from time to time, I think it might be a sitution type of thing as in a faster backcourt, frontcourt, players who are more aggressive on defense some times it may sub for players who are good at shooting the 3pt shot, like I said sometimes it depends on whats going on when on the floor and game situtions.

Fatigue plays a big role also along with the match ups.Theoretically the fatigue and recovery sliders control how much the player tires and when he's rested and read to sub back in.

Sometimes the player who subs in off the bench may stay in longer then disired, what you could do is check his stamina and adjust it so he doesn't remain as strong a backup but the thing with that is what if your starter gets injured,so you might just want the time on the floor to just run its coures until the sub tires and the starter comes back in.So if you do adjust do so wisely.

Yea I just went on and edited EVERYONE'S STAMINA RATING:

EVERYONE has an 80 except for who I name below. Teams like SAC/MEM/DEN who sub alot need to be sufficed. Example, if Bibby is a 90 in STAMINA, he will never be subbed by Bobby. Got me?
The following teams have all 80's: Nets, Grizzlies, Mavericks

                  100's

yeah, that makes sense. I was playing last night CLE VS Kings on auto sub and at one point the cpu put Lebron in as C. Its because they don't have enough back ups. It is very important to have your starting lineup and your exact subs right behind them in order. The cpu subbed out Divac and never played Miller who is rated over 80 because he was further down from the average backs. I tested it by putting him right below the starters in order and they subbed Miller in. If I remember right even when you do a season the cpu plays the person highest rated for their position no matter how you set the starters. I use to crank up the right back ups stats so they would be subbed over the no namers.
