Would love to have the option to participate in shootarounds (like college hoops 2k8, but with a player lock camera) before the game starts, so I can get a feel for a player's jumper. You could choose to skip it of course, and this option would be made when damon bruce usually does his talking before the game loads.

Re: 2K14 Desperately Needs TNT or ABC/ ESPN Persentation
I think this is EXACTLY what Association and My Career needs. But it can't just be TNT's logo tacked on with a halftime show. It needs to go big.
What I'm thinking would be including TNT's full program style, from pre-game, to halftime show, to post-game and more.
The pre-game would be better suited to be short in the regular season, and perhaps a little longer in the playoffs. This could be done similarly to how Madden handles it, except much more expansive and much less repetition. This could make every game feel a lot more interesting, as comments on what's going on in the league with standings, statistic leaders etc beforehand would really make the league feel a part of every game, instead of the games just being nearly completely separate from one another.
The halftime show, however, is where the license would really shine. Shaq cracking jokes, Kenny running (or swag walking) to the big screen, and of course Barkley's country twist. Same precedents as the pre-game show, with maybe some highlights from other games played, or at the very least scores and analysis on said games.
The post-game show is a little bit more of an optional, as it could be great but could get annoying. Make it chock full of analysis in a short time, and make it skippable too. lol
As for My Career, I know I would love to get invited to be interviewed by TNT, with my answers garnering reactions from the studio crew. Also, it would be very awesome to be invited to help the analysis, say during the playoffs if your team doesn't make it. These would work similarly to the current 4 option post-game interviews, with maybe a total of 6 instead. (give those bumper buttons some love!)
Well, I realized after writing this that it was quite long and expansive lol hopefully you guys appreciate my concepts and ideas here. Any input or furthering of these ideas would be awesome to hear.Comment

Re: 2K14 Desperately Needs TNT or ABC/ ESPN Persentation
Anyone remember the old College Hoops games, I remember them having like top plays and all that every week or something (I haven't played in years.) But that would be cool...if like every week in Association or My Player you could check the top 10 and see some highlights from games and all that.I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

Re: 2K14 Desperately Needs TNT or ABC/ ESPN Persentation
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. 2K should grab the TNT license since EA just wants to have ESPN and RARELY use it. 2K already has Harlan, Kerr, and Kellogg. But they should replace Clark w/ Reggie Miller, get Sager as the sideline reporter, have a pre-game, halftime, and post-game show, and get the real TNT presentation and all. It would definitely make the game complete, presentation-wise.
What about chris webber? would make for a great commentator as well.Comment

Re: 2K14 Desperately Needs TNT or ABC/ ESPN Persentation
Yeah, he'd be great for them in the booth too. They should have multiple groups of commentators that switches randomly. Then C-Webb could also be in the studio like in real life w/ Kenny, Shaq, Charles, and Ernie.
I desperately want to know why EA very seldom utilizes the ESPN presentation. The only time they've used it correctly was in NCAA Basketball 10. In NCAA Football, they use it, but it doesn't mirror real life at all.PS5 PSN: MellowTheMyth | Xbox Series Gamertag: MelloTheMythComment

Live had TNT back in the early PlayStation days. It was dope....don't see why 2k cant do the same since they use TNT guys.Comment

Re: 2K14 Desperately Needs TNT or ABC/ ESPN Persentation
Agree with this idea, disagree with the "desperately" needs part. 2K presentation might be the best in sports gaming. Commentating is deep, visuals are good. What does TNT presentation even mean? You get their logo and overlays and what else? That's not worth the price it'd be to get the licensing. It'd have to be something substantial like top plays, interviews, etc. I think what we've seen is what makes good presentation is not WHO is doing the presentation but the DEPTH of it. Like I remember they went out and got a "name" like Bill Walton yet he only spitted out what felt like 2 or 3 lines that got repetitive. Anyways just saying if they gonna use resources to get the license, it should add something that's gonna actually make a big difference to the game (like top 10 plays or something).
Agree w/just about everything else here too. With or w/o TNT the presentation/commentary of last few years has always been top notch.Comment

Re: 2K14 Desperately Needs TNT or ABC/ ESPN Persentation
Perhaps if 2k stopped spending money on junk such as Jay-Z and in game celebs, then maybe they'd be able to afford the license. Give us something worth while instead of burning all your cash on rap bling menus and Justin Bieber.-----------------------------------------

TNT would look NBA 2K14 look about perfect as far as presentation and even use the license for old school games during the 90's (if we still have the legends)

TNT would be great seeing they already got Kerr and Harlan. They just need to try get Marv for the classic mode and we are set.Comment

I think it would be amazing if we could have Marv in general with him being part of a secondary broadcast team.Comment

This is such a fantastic idea. TNT's basketball coverage in real life is awesome. It would work great with 2K. Just another thing that 2K would have over Live. TNT craps on ESPN.

Yeah. Both of those would be great. I would prefer if they got TNT for current, and NBC Sports for the 90s but that TNT scorebug still looks pretty darn good.Xbox 360 Rosters:
