In real life I would agree with you. However, in 2k the baseline, and under the goal layups are overly effective. I would rather get beat off the dribble to the middle as opposed to the baseline in 2k13. Its not a good look when you have to switch up real life principles for 2k.

See Idk if this is against the cpu or against a human opponent. I don't play online that much, so I don't know if it's an exploit or not. From my experience playing against the computer and against buddies offline, I haven't notice any unusual shot making.In real life I would agree with you.
