Maybe...and maybe not. But it doesn't matter, they won't spend much time tweaking the current-gen version, and I understand that...unless they have different departments working on different gens...? I just hope current-gen still get some major upgrades gameplay-wise to justify the $59.99 price tag...

Re: NBA 2K14 Screenshots - LeBron James (Current-Gen)
2k14 will be the last significant changes adjusted from 2k13. after those years, the current gen won't get an overhaul as focus will shift to next gen. So, nba 2k14 must blow me away to conclude the current gen franchise. otherwise, if they don't bring it this year on current gen, thats it for 2k this generation. Not worth the 60 bucks. I might have to wait until the game comes out first to see the reviews, as I have a decision to make on whether or not I want to purchase current gen 2k and next gen 2k...
decisions decisions. difficult ones at that.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 Screenshots - LeBron James (Current-Gen)
You are probably right about 360/PS3 being at their limits (These systems have been out for 7+ years.). People should not really be surprised that these games look similar to the previous year. At this point no sports game is going to create a new graphics engine EVERY single year. Also 2k13 was not ugly to the point that they really needed to scrap it's graphics engine imo.
Knowing this, the game looks a little brighter and Lebron's face looks more rounded out compared to his square-jawed look in 2k13-In other words not much has changed . Hopefully they did some work on KD35 though as I thought he looked terrible in 13. While they can't do a huge overhaul on the game graphically, the least they can do is put in some better face scans overall for current gen.Last edited by NINJAK2; 07-01-2013, 08:26 PM.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Fixed the headband. (Probably a modified version of the 2K12 CF ) Didn't fix the jersey number, which IRL is slightly more to the right. Better Tats. (HD)
The Heat and Blazers (could be more) has always had Team Color 2 as white/home, Black/Away.Last edited by MarvinOida; 07-01-2013, 08:33 PM.Xbox 360 Rosters:
