The biggest flaw in 2k shooting system ?

Is the biggest flaw in NBA 2k games is the randomness of knocking down a shot? For example a player like Dwight Howard is passed the ball at the 3 point line late in the shot clock and knocks down the 3 out of no where but in 2k it doesn't happen because of the shooting formula. I know it could happen in live. Anyone else agree they should add it ?

Ive had Big baby knock down a three after scrambling for a lose ball before. Such things do happen

Big Baby can knock down the 3 in real life if left open though

A career 15% shooter from three can knock down the 3? Really? Maybe in a casual setting. In a real NBA game, the numbers say differently.

He rarely shoots them so of course his percentage would be low

You know the great thing about a percentage, is that it is independent of the number of shots.

              That every shot is automatic.

Players in 2k knock down unrealistic stuff all the time. Take enough 3 point shots with howard and he will knock down one eventually. There are plenty of problems with 2k specially on higher diffculty settings but this isnt one of them.

People like to complain about all sorts of things in 2K but shooting is one thing I don't think you can complain about. It just shows that people are nitpicking too much and really TRY to find flaws.

                    It does happen.

Play a game with 12 minute quarters. Jack 3's with Howard all game. I guarantee you he makes one.

6 ticks left on the shot clock.. Normal association game (even WITH custom sliders.) Driving down the lane no one to kick to but SAMMY DALEMBERT. lol. Needless to say he knocked it down, nothing but net. Happens all the time. But they're is a reason they have a 25 rating. Don't shoot them and expect them to hit em!!

I had someone hit a 3 with Marcus Camby on me. After he and that god awful shooting motion hit a 3 on me, I believe anyone can hit it if you're persistent enough...

I don't understand what your suggesting, are you talking about NBA elite's shooting system or NBA live 10 shooting system? Also the biggest issue with shooting for me is they're too slow, this isn't a issue as to the timing, but because the cpu can close out so fast it's ridicules. They really need to fix the close outs really, not really the speed of the jump shot.

wait...so you're complaining because you wish it was easier to make 3's with Dwight Howard? no....just no. sounds like somebody lost a game because they missed a 3 with Dwight at the buzzer and now they're bitter about it. taking 3's with Dwight Howard is bad basketball - the game should not reward such horrible shot selection.
