Am I misunderstanding things or is it pretty cut and dry that 2K won't have classic teams? I mean, if over 40 signed a contract with EA, then it's a foregone conclusion, don't you think?

Where did you hear that over 40 signed contracts with EA?

Be cool if you can play and draft some of the players from Euro league into your Association mode. I really didn't play with the CLASSIC teams that much, to be honest. It was a nice feature, but as I played more 2K13, the more current teams and rosters I used for head-to-head or for Association.

So, I'm guessing no college basketball by 2K again this fall or winter? College Hoops 2K8 still plays fine, but those player models are horrific. Come on, 2K! Bring back some College Hoops 2K14 this winter. Work out a deal with the NCAA.

I hate that 2k is becoming a game with little substance to it, its like we get a so called big feature in the game that seems to be something cool but once the smoke clears its just basic. I was excited about this Euroleague feature until i found out it wont be in the association mode or my career, im not a play now guy so adding teams just for that isnt what i call fun or even important. but thats just me.

I agree. I'm guessing this means that they will be integrated into Association and MyCareer in 2015 or later and I'd rather them just hold off on Euroleague teams until they have the mechanics in place and it's fully integrated.

I don't follow the Euroleague at all so I have no reason to play with them. Now, if they were available in Assoc. mode then I'd try to them out so I could scout players by actually playing with them.

Thats the same mind set i had about the Euroleague since i dont follow that league it would be used as something to make the boring association mode that 2k has just a little bit better, BUT back to square one i guess hopefully they will at least bring back the d-league.

Actually, I'm wrong. My fault. I found the article and read it too fast at work that day. The number 40 stood with me for some reason. It said it had legends and over 40 signature styles from currect players:

So I assume that the you can have the option for playing Euro rules playing exhibition games? hmmm I wonder if they finally added an option for playing old school rules as well for exhibition games....

I really hope that option is added as well. #WishfulThinking

Honestly my chances of pick in up 2k look slimmer and slimmer. If 2k14 is just another 2k13 with euro teams and my least favorite player on the front, then I'm getting madden instead.
What makes this game a buy for me is better in game physics computer not knowing where the ball is going all the time, and instead of higher attributes the game gets smarter when set to a high difficulty, oh and ai logic getting better.

Couldn't care less about this. Bring back a more robust version of the classic teams. Not having Dr. J and Kareem this year sucked balls.

Im really disapointed 2k "wasted" time on this feature instead of focusing on other Roster Short-Falls!...the mode is basically useless and no doubt there will still be missing NBA players who are on garunteed contracts!...

Why not add a proper D-League?...or Summer Leauge??...

He said right now its only in h2h and online ...hopefully it will change...and I think my career is done I think its call path to greatness now inless its sum lebron james mode frome cleveland to miami

the fact that euroleage is not going to be in association makes the entire implementation worthless. association mode has been left untouched since 2k11 and is growing stale and needs a massive overhaul and adding in the euro league could have done that. im very disappointed.

To me, I still think EuroLeague will be in Association and/or MyCareer. I think they didn't want to mention it now for it to be spoiled. So next time they have special about Association or MyCareer they can blow us away how EuroLeague will be used in Association or MyCareer. That's just my thoughts though. So I can easily be wrong.
