He'll be back lighter and quicker next year along with an improved mid-range game. Ray Allen's been helping the Heat a lot with improving their jump shooting and free throws.

While Miami is getting older that doesn't equate to them losing their whole roster after next year. In fact with LeBron and Bosh opting out and then resigning Riley can rehaul everyone's salaries for the new CBA rules and make more cap for new bodies. Miami is far from being out of title contention.

Most of you seem to be buying into the normal media bull**** storm that comes along every time a big star is nearing the end of his contract. There's a reason LeBron came to Miami with Chris Bosh and it's worked out almost perfectly so far. It won't end any time soon barring some sort of freak injury to one of the big 3.

Also, how does it make sense to any of you so-called NBA fans to think LeBron would leave a system he's helped build for a new team where he'd have to build chemistry with all new players and try to fit into a new system and culture? It doesn't make any sense. Not to mention (those of you thinking he would return to Cleveland ) the Cav's owner burned that bridge and so did the fans. He gave them his all and got zilch in return.

How is tagging LeBron as unloyal because he left Cleveland even a remotely reasonable thought? He was extremely loyal to the Cleveland organization and fans. The ONLY reason he left is because he needed help to win it all and he wants to go down as one of the greatest of all-time. Every single one of the all-time greats had great teams and LeBron never got that in Cleveland and it looked like he never would. Sure, they have some decent talent now but that's only because of a #1 draft pick they wouldn't of had with LeBron still there.

Tagging LeBron as "unloyal" is essential to make him test free agency in 2K basketball games. The loyalty ratings of players are the sole determining factor to whether or not they become free agents in Association. LeBron can't be tagged as "extremely loyal" (like you claim he was to Cleveland), because by the way Association works in 2K basketball games, LeBron never would have tested free agency with a loyalty rating of "extremely loyal."

This the main reason why I'd like to be able to edit those personalities, like loyalty, play for winner, and security. Created players that you make by default are all non loyal to teams.

The whole "loyalty" system is broken. Just because someone is not loyal shouldn't mean that they automatically bolt for another team in free agency. Other factors like "financial security" and "play for a winner" should matter but doesn't seem to come into effect when players decide what team they're going to during free agency because it takes a backseat to "loyalty". My prime example of this is Melo leaving the Knicks in my association to go to the Bobcats. Keep in mind that "financial security" and "playing for a winner" are labeled as extremely important for Melo. So, I offered him max money and we just won the championship but because he's "not loyal", he would rather take less money and play for a losing team like the Bobcats. At the very least 2k should just make that part editable if they can't find a solution.

Your post reminds of when Cavs fans were saying there's no way he's gonna leave. There will be several options for LBJ when he opts out. Don't be surprised if he leaves Miami because like others have said that teams window is closing while other teams are in position to be good for the long term.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.
