Definitly, my thing is even if they didn't innovate with association, there's no reason simply aspects of My career shouldn't be in association mode. If you're gonna implement something like post game conferences, there's no legitimate reason not to have it in association.

Bet a $100 bucks that they add one thing like the ability to amnesty a player. Only to implement it the wrong way, i.e. every team has the ability to use it.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 - What we know so far FAQ/QA
I don't mean to derail the thread off topic but why would they put the amnesty provision in the game if just about all the teams have amnestied a player. I've been seeing people asking for this to be in, and I would find it pointless.Comment

I'd love to be able to accurately play "what if" with my favorite franchise.Comment

Re: NBA 2K14 - What we know so far FAQ/QA
Exactly! Why in the year 2013 we can't get a game that has all franchise info correct? As far as players, draft picks, contracts, trade exceptions, etc. The one aspect that offers the most longevity gets the least amount of attention. This is called "hustling backwards".Comment

Where it would be nice to have the current CBA rules in place, the amnesty clause is something idk would make any sense being that only about 5-8 teams would have this option.

Re: NBA 2K14 - What we know so far FAQ/QA
Im not sure it is worth the time. In order for a player to qualify for the amnesty provision he must have signed his contract before the new CBA was agreed to. This takes away a number of players you would even be interested in using this clause on. Also the amnesty clause must be used within the first 5 years of the new CBA, this is not a permanent rule.Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, everybody is gonna die, come watch TV.- MortyComment

Path to Greatness has to be a MyCareer type mode where you are 'Bron.
I'm callin it right now. CALLED IT! When 2K14 comes out and I'm right, you heard it here first. The current-gen versions will get a King James Bonus Pack free with a pre-order. It includes exclusive content featuring LeBron James in an unexplained capacity along with 10,000 VC points, extra content for the all-new Path to Greatness mode (which James is involved in), playable James in Blacktop mode, and an all-new Signature Skill for the man known as “King James.”
will feature a new mode called Path to Greatness, which will feature cover athlete LeBron James.LeBron James didn't always want to be involved with video games, but now he finally is. Imagine how ridiculously unstoppable he'll be in this one.
The new game will include a mode called “Path to Greatness” that will be featuring LeBron.Besides this extra mode, those who pre-order 2K14 will get the “King James Bonus Pack.”
NBA2K14 is coming out October 1. LeBron James has been unveiled as the cover athlete for the game, the first next-gen installment of the long-running franchise.
2K Sports unveiled a video in which LeBron emerged from the shadows to reveal that he wants to join the elite company of the NBA's greatest legends. This is apparently setting up the new "Path To Greatness" mode. Details of the new mode have not yet been revealed, so it's unknown whether it will feature a simulated egocentric one-hour special, in which the player must press X to take his talents to South Beach.
LeBron James will be featured in the Path to Greatness mode.BLACK MAMBA

Re: NBA 2K14 - What we know so far FAQ/QA
Are signature moves coming back? Signature dribble moves, signature size ups, signature jab steps? It has really hurt 2K13. Seeing the same animations over and over has really made the game feel stale quickly. Even though signature size ups where mini movies you would at least feel every players where different. It really added authenticity.Last edited by Vni; 07-30-2013, 07:16 AM.Comment
