We created an OA and then one of the guys in my group along with some of our help went in and we made the trades, did drop adds to get the correct guys on the correct teams.

I think we have it for the whole league minus rooks of course..

Hornets steal game one in Indiana, take 1-0 series lead

INDIANAPOLIS PSN Yung_Ballin (aka Harter) brought his New Orleans Hornets into town to start an East vs West showdown in 2-3-2 format. I've been playing Harter for a couple of years and he is a tough competitor.

I've known Harter for a while and he is from Louisiana which is great because he uses the Hornets. We have had some classic games over the last couple of years with him getting the best of me more often than not.

Our best moment was probably when I beat him in overtime in New Orleans once when he was recording the game on his iphone and it fell and recorded his reaction to my nailing a shot with Granger to either win or send it to overtime I can't remember.

Harter is a very good player and a stingy defender. He knows how to play the game and you got to come ready to play in order to have a chance.

He wanted to play a series so I said why not since Alabamarob was on the sideline tonight, being a travel day and all..lol.

We are also playing this in a file that has our new players for next year on each team for the most part.

This game was a defensive battle. And it went all the way down to the wire with the Hornets getting a huge three point play down the stretch to lead them to victory. Amazingly it was 79-79 with under a minute to go in a 12 minute quarter game.

You might notice when you watch the video, I really don't do anything special on defense and it was under 80 points when we pick up the game. The reason I point that out is that a lot of people think more of everything is the way to go on defense, switching defenses all of the time, going zones trapping etc are important to good defense when in fact if you keep it simple, you'll probably be fine. I didn't change a single setting and if I called for a double team it was once or twice the whole game probably at the end of a quarter. And again it was 79-79 with under a minute to go against a very good player.

This is YB aka HARTER. As Coach said we have been playing for a couple years since 2k12 and I really enjoy his style of play. We just played game 1 of our best of 7 series with most of the new players for our teams. Although my team didn't have the likes of Morrow or Stiensma and still had Lopez it felt pretty cool getting to see what the team would be like for next season.


This was a great game and win or lose I would have been happy with it. What was great was the low score. 82-80 is probably the lowest 12 minute quarter game I've seen. Buckets were tough to come by and when you scored you were happy. Both of us shot below 50% and I beleive we only scored 3 pts each with 2 minutes to go.


My thoughts on the possession that gave me the lead tied at 79-79 were run the clock as much as possible, call Red Angle Iso for Tyreke, and try to slash to the rim. The play worked perfectly. I called the play when Jrue was dribbling out the clock as you can see Tyreke comes calling for the ball to set it up. Usually Coach would counter this, but catching the ball on the left side then dribbling all the way over caught him off guard so he didn't know I was running it and Davis' timing on the pick was perfect. Nothing he could do then, but try to hack Tyreke. He comes up with the And 1 which led to my 2 point victory and 1-0 series lead.


I'll upload that video where my phone falls and I pretty much rage if I can find it later.

I found the link to a hilarious video that Harter made a while back when we were playing. He meant to record his game play I'm sure to capture his victory but instead recorded himself which was pretty funny to the rest of us in our group lol .

Pistons take game three in Detroit to take 2-1 series lead

DETROIT C2K and his Pacers arrived today in Detroit for game three of his series with Alabamarob. Yesterday the Pacers did look at film to prepare for this pivotal game.

But in the end, that didn't matter as Detroit had a different game plan this time and that was to use Josh Smith and shoot the three.

Detroit went 10-20 from three and Josh Smith nailed just about everything he put up.

Granger did get hot in this game putting up 33 but it wasn't enough as defensively, the Pacers didn't bring it tonight.

Both teams surprisingly also broke a hundred points an unusual feat based on how this series got started.

The Pistons are in control especially if they can win at home in game four with a chance to close out the series in game 5 in Indy.

Danny Granger once again got to roasting and broke 30 again. I have yet to find a way to consistently stop him. Coach also went "Optik" on me and harrased every entry pass and post touch with multiple defenders and Monroe was taken out of the game. Charlie V, jerebko, and singler hit some big perimeter shots and the role players held onto home court for me.

Alabama is 1 of better players I've played on here! We had 2 games where I believe he won both by 2 points. Can't wait to see how this plays out!

Best league ever. You and philly did your thing on that league. I think I won one game by a point and another by 2. Nash missed a buzzer beater on one game. Coachs crew may be a little to grimey for you. These boys are the ufc to your leagues professional boxing. Ha ha. Appreciate the invite by coach, and he has a good group of guys who play hard and do no whining. I will be playing in coachs 2k league this year. Although, my man 2kthethrone would die playing with coachs crew. Thethrone is a 2k purist to the fullest.

Van go get j will and boric off they asses so we can get this thing going for 2k14 on the xbox. I am trying to be in one xbox league also.
