Hornets take game 3 to take 3-0 lead against Pacers in NOLA

NEW ORLEANS Another great game between Yung_Ballin and C2K as I try and get a win in the series. Again it was a defensive battle but I was still right there towards the end with the game knotted up at 87 all I gave up a huge play to Jrue Holiday and he ended the game on a 7-0 run to take game 3.

Great game Harter. Attached are several things. One is his scouting report. A clip of the play of the game at 87-87. A play by the way I know is coming lol. Red angle ISO is Harter's bread and butter.

This game also had 34 offensive rebounds. 18 for him and 16 for me. Interestingly enough he told me after the game he increased his crash boards to a 100 and I had set my fast break to zero lol.

Another hard fought game where I got a little comfortable and almost lost the lead in the 4th. We really wanted this game and we fed the man that got going first. I rarely even score 20 with Davis much less 35, but he was having himself a game. We were even running plays for him. Most of his points came out of the post, offensive rebound putbacks, and a few pick and rolls. It's pretty sad that in this game you can't even shoot a 15 footer with Davis without getting red on your range meter. If 2k had Davis' attributes right he would be a whole different animal. Anyways late in the 4th we were up 8 or so crusing to the finish we out of nowhere the Pacers spark up a run that ties the game. So as Coach said I go to my bread and butter and pull out the floater for the first time in the game and its money! That floater must be cheese because it opened up the flood gates to a 7-0 run and a 3-0 series lead. Great game again Coach!

Here's game one of my series with Alabamarob. It's complete and unedited. I don't commentate these but you can see some good basketball. I won this game but he's gotten the better of the last few games. I think the best game we have played so far was game 4.

Pacers fall to Pistons 4-1

INDIANAPOLIS The Pacers got out the fishing poles in preparation for the off season as they got beat tonight and it looked like the were ready to go home right when they got to the gym.

Detroit came in with their disciplined physical squad and manhandled the Pacers to victory.

C2K's team looked like they had ran out of gas tonight under good defensive pressure used by alabamarob.

That's what I like about these 12 minute quarter seven game series. Because it's all about endurance focus and discipline. Alabamarob had more of all of those sticking to his game plan throughout the series.

Next year, the Pistons will be a much improved squad and while C2K has been used to beating up on the Pistons for awhile now, looks like the tide might be turning with the new roster moves they made this year.

I'll have to get used to life without Green as well. I can tell you already I miss Green lol.

Looking forward to the challenge.

Man, thanks for posting! I learned a lot watching that (watched the whole game) as it was hard to watch in spots. Especially the first quarter! 20 turnovers is a testament to your defense. Very lucky to leave with a W. I was obviously wrong about Kobe as he did his thing. 1 thing I do remember is how tough your post defense was with doubles, stealing my post entries, etc. there were times I was like why am I not posting up more?! If it wasnt for all the 3's (11) I probably lose! I took way to many 3's for my liking. I think I was 11-24? I didn't call a very good game play wise. There were alot of plays i must have ran later in the year that i didnt run against you? So many times I was too patient and set things back up when i had lanes wide open and didn't take them! SMH! It's crazy how watching yourself play just like in real life can only help you become a better player! You were killing me running dragic off that double screen! Had to have had 4 lay-ins off that!

Guys, I will say this jasonwilliams55 was and is the best defensive 2k player I've played. He had the toughest D in our league imo of all the guys I faced. If you watch he has ball pressure, doubles the post well, sees and reads my plays and off ball movement, and is great on post defense with the right stick. I had my hands full every game we played while having the obvious team advantage.

Props to jwill55! Thanks for posting! I always enjoyed the competition and our games. I look forward to more battles in 2k14! I wont be running with the lakers this year so your safe! lol! Thinking about the blazers or twolves... Anyways, you better believe I'm gonna learn from that video though! :-)

You can see how much the tweaks 2k did in the background changed the gameplay/flow.... watching that compared to the game now is night and day for me.

Also having been playing with sliders for a while now, the game needs to be slowed down a tad in order to make it more life like. By that I mean the overall speed needs to go down but the explosion/quickness has to stay.
