A series... not quite, but me and ASDD used to go at it daily and this was a memorable one for us, cause in the 3rd there was a stretch were it was Melo V Durant.

I put it in here, since I figured the peeps in this thread would enjoy it more than the highlight section.

Pacers beat Celtics 4-1

OK. So I ran another best of seven series with PSN sreckless. I've been battling sreckless for about two years. In fact, he was the first guy that stepped up and said yeah man I want to play a best of seven back then.

I'm pretty sure other than a brief stint with the Bucks (because they wore green too) and probably to help me get a few wins, sreckless uses the Celtics exclusively. Sreckless is also from the Boston area which is another thing I like to see with some one who uses a team. Wish I could find 30 guys who live in the city of the team they use and are fans of it - an almost impossible task.

Over the last couple of years, he's pretty much owned me with his Celtics with me only able to garner one win over those two years vs his Celtics with a couple of close games and I remember in 2K12, when fatigue was broken, he would just use his bench and dispatch me then.

I tell you what nothing ticks me off more than getting by the bench lol!

So we decided since this is the end of the Celtics as we know them now, to run another best of seven series before that group is gone. I thought it was good timing too because I know he's been sitting it out for awhile getting rusty and meanwhile my Pacers have gotten some ratings love.

As usual, we run on 12 minute quarters, HOF, simulation sliders.

In this series since he has earned the home court by beating me all of the time we started in Boston.

I figured at this point I could understand why they were breaking Boston up. Everyone looked slow and old and I went into game three super confident.

But man in game three at one point found myself in a 19 point hole. I just couldn't do anything right and he was just killing me. So I did the only thing I could do and that was just do the best I could to cut the lead down. Eventually tied the game at 110 with a Granger three and after we traded baskets, Paul George broke the tie and gave me the lead and we eked out a game three victory 114-112. Up 3-0, after a lucky win, sreckless came into game 4 with force and that game was a lot like game 3 with me again digging a huge deficit I think it was 20 or 22 points at one point.

Everything was working for him. Rondo was the man scoring in the paint and dishing registering a double double. The defense was stifling and while I cut the score down it was a sound defeat for Indiana especially at home in front of our fans. We were pretty much embarrassed and wondering how hard it would be to win the series even being up 3-1 since I know was the rust was coming off and he was playing better now on both ends of the court. So with the series standing at 3-1, Indiana took the court back in Boston. We knew we could win there but knew we would have to have big games with our big stars and weren't going to win with George Hill near the top scorers list.

I wasn't sure how the team would respond back in the garden but they responded well with Roy Hibbert putting up 32 points and 9 rebounds and West and Paul George having great games and we were able to dominate the paint and get another win in Boston to close out the series 119-106. Great series sreckless. It's funny how these series mirror real life ones. Each of us making adjustments from game to game and a play here or there in game one or game three and it's a lot different series. I think that game three was pivotal in the series. Kind of reminded me of the Warriors-Spurs series this year.

Always love playing Boston win or lose.
