I have to disagree. EA Sports is know for it's good online stability as well as lobbies. Which is what we have asking for for years. Online play is a crucial part of the game world nowadays. If NBA brings all the things I listed, I think they have a advantage. At least for the Next Gen. But because they're not releasing the game on current gen their sales will most likely not top 2K. But so far Live has been bringing up interesting improvents while what 2K has brought is laughable. Am I the only one, who finds it funny that 2K made a announcement that we can block dunks now? Which was already in the game in 2k11 as well as 12 (with it's flaws) But to make that a announcement is just sad and funny to me.

Have you read the rules? I think it states in there how long before you can make your first thread.

        You want the spotlights? lol.

Relax man it's just a code about a video game. Whatever.

First code is definately Crew and 14 ... Crew 2K14. There is nothing that makes as much sense as that.

EA is no longer known for having good gameplay, or even having a game TO play. It doesn't matter how good their servers are, if the base game is mediocre.

At best it'll be a stable and somewhat amusing distraction for some. That's all it needs to be to have something to build off for future years but it almost definitely won't be a better game or remotely comparable.

I'll go with the brand that actually has a track record of delivering great basketball games over the company that's aimless and has only delivered ugly renders and buzz words.

Re: Encrypted message from Ronnie2K, what does it mean?

The tweet released by Ronnie2k today " 35 3335 #3R335 ". No damn code in existence translates this to "crew 2k14". However one code can translate this. The number code meaning A = 0 and Z = 25. Surprisingly people jumped to conclusions an said "omg crew mode". Instead of using theist obvious cipher. Using the translation Ronnie2k tweeted " I O #DRJ ". Anyone want to guess what that means? It means "The Doctor" is in the game. Crew mode is not (might be) if they decide to put it in. So people might be happy and some might not. I certainly am, finally being able to play with someone everyone has been bugging 2K about. You saw it here first

Re: Encrypted message from Ronnie2K, what does it mean?

I meant the first code meant Crew 2K14. (3R335)

I don't know about the second one. And I don't think they're hyping that much just for one player.

Also if anyone else wants to argue the fact. Ronnie tweeted "crack the code" meaning you need a cipher or code to crack it. No code translates 3r335 to Crew mode by "flipping letters around. And #DRJ is pretty obvious.

Still just speculation. I don't think that having Doctor J in the game, which they had last year, would be something they'd use this cryptic marketing for.

Well that's all subject to change right? So far 2K hasn't release anything remotely new other than glamorizing Lebron James and uses pathetic marketing schemes.

You forget facts like, 2K rushes a game every year, and every year we get faced with the same problems, (freezing, lag, etc.)

While Live has had 2 years to get their game right. You're right, 2K is has the gameplay advantage, but what good is a game with realistic animations but freezes all the time. Think about it.

I'm just going to stop bringing it up, before I get ban. 2K Sports forums have already resulted to their typical monarchy. Plus we're getting off topic, so
I'll just say lets agree to disagree.

The path to greatness mode might be about DRJ and you sound pretty dumb. One player? The player is DRJ which one of the best basketball players to ever live. And people have been bugging 2K to add him in the game and it looks like they finally did.

People wanted him because of the MyTeam mode and this might be it.

Which is what I was saying...

But who said it was cryptic code, it could just be a simple code, don't mean it has to be cryptic needing some sort of well though out key or sorts.

But yeah we have to look at what's relevant enough to warrant this type of marketing.

If it isn't crew then it's some sort of Legends mode that we haven't seen yet
