The thing with these riddles is that they can be anything,like a conspiracy theory.You can assign any meaning you want and rearrange numbers to your liking(or your wishes) and still hve a point.

Imho that's a brilliant marketing plan for 2k...let people fantasize about crew,about coaching mode,lebron's path to greatness or reggie miller(do you fantasize about reggie?really?).So in the end you've been so close to the product and all the buzz ,plus your own dreams and expectations that they don't need a marketing plan,it's gone viral already...

So i sadly see that 2k goes to gimmick marketing as a smokescreen to cover up what some fans really want to see,and that is gameplay improvements.
(Let's not even touch modes like offline/online association, they don't give a ... about these "minorities".)

So let me project my own wishes to the riddle master.3+3+5=11 the year when nba2k11 was the best implentation of a sim, balanced basketball game.Add 3 ,the starting digit, and it goes to 14 ->nba2k14.Now you know what i'd like to see in 2k14 that was just fine on nba2k11? Rebounding which is what the R stands for.

To sum it up.
3-years from 2k11
R-fix the rebounding
335-that was messed up from 2k11 and later.

The announcement is dropping on August 14->35 3335

Ok you've got a point, we all have our heroes.As a legend player ,Reggie alone, is not a groundbreaking announcement though.At least not for the flashy youtube community that was invited into teamup(they said amped up...unless they met Reggie himself that day...)

I fantasize about Chuck doing commentary too and talking about doing his eyebrows or women milking pregnacy pain...but it ain't happening.

Wanna know what's a big earth shattering announcement?The public reveal of 2k insider's identity...

I don't care for the mode personally, but if this isn't crew then there is going to be riots on OS. This has got people's expectations wound up so much that the backlash would rival the power of a thousand suns.

Don't you cats ever give it a rest? You don't even know what the announcements going to be. For all you know, it will be gameplay related. But since you are speaking of gameplay were you here for the blocking system news. All that happened after that was criticizing. But that CERATINLY was all about gameplay. In fact, it was the most talked about gameplay issue of 2k13! So how do you think a rebounding announcement will go over?

And whining about marketing "gimmicks" is, frankly, stupid. That's their JOB! Just like EA and their buzzwords. You have a marketing department. And you have a development department - the people that actually make the game. Just because marketing is doing one thing doesn't reflect on what development people are doing.

As for this announcement, apparently, it made the Team Up guys happy. So it MUST have been something "some fans really wanted to see".

Here, I'd have to agree. Why? It's gameplay. Pure and simple. And the whole Reggie thing: guys the man doesn't want to be in videogames. That ship is gone. Give it up. And, again, there are many better players already in the game, so adding him is a minor adding not the attention grabbing tactic.
