I haven't rage quit online at all, but I almost did. This one guy droopped 51 with LeBron on MyTeam against me in the 8th seed, so I had **** players. He was doing all kinds of cheese imaginable, up and unders every time in the paint, forcing dunks, going for charges in the backcourt, playing off-ball, etc. The worst part was my entire team was missing all of their shots. I missed at least 10-12 perfect release, in range, and wide open. Then after the game I messaged him and called him a cheeser and **** (cause I was pissed) and I got this back, "Haha loooser". If you ever play against Besiktas190368 get ready to deal with some BS. Held it in and didn't rage quit somehow.
Admit it, you have rage quit more times in NBA 2K13 than in any other games combined!

Funny.
I've played over 250 games I think. Have got more losses than wins due to my refusal to play scrubs. I don't touch online at all now outside of playing a select few sim guys from here. (Shout out to Chris11sg & D-cumz-1st - You guys are legit ballers)
And for the guy who said 'don't blame the game, just get better' I'm not blaming the game at all. I'm blaming the users. Yes, most 'cheese' moves can be stopped and countered, but that's not the problem - I don't WANT to play or go up against unrealistic basketball players. It ruins the experience completely. If I wanted to watch people running in circles and spamming the iso moves I would have purchased NBA Jam for its lack of realism.Last edited by daveberg; 08-15-2013, 05:50 AM.-----------------------------------------

If its in comparison to other 2k games, yeah, without a doubt, although I wouldn't call it rage quitting. I don't care if I'm up 20, if someone takes a charge on me in the backcourt or shoots a Eurostep 3 I quit IMMEDIATELY. Just not worth the headache, and nobody gives a crap or looks at your online quick match record anyway, so I don't care what mine looks like. (Actually I think it's like 3000-25 or something hilarious because I've done the coach mode VC glitch so many times.)Comment

I don't know why, but I get so mad at this game. If the CPU scored off an offensive rebound, most people would probably be like "Damn." I'd be like "REBOUND THE BALL YOU ****ING SOFTER-THAN-KLEENEX ******** PIECE OF ****!" Lol.Comment

Re: Admit it, you have rage quit more times in NBA 2K13 than in any other games combi
By that logic you sort of come to an impasse if you're playing a cheeser (I'm not talking a 3-pt "cheeser", I'm talking the take charge in the backcourt or Eurostep 3 cheeser) because you should not "be mad at the cheeser, you should be mad at their parents for raising a cheeser". When somebody isn't actually playing the game, but is instead TRYING to grief you by exploiting legitimately glitched components of the game, there's no shame AT ALL in quitting.Comment

Re: Admit it, you have rage quit more times in NBA 2K13 than in any other games combi
Certain things you cant stop in this game my friend like
- When you pump fake(or pass out of a shot) but your guy still shoots.
- When your guy is open and your like a few inches away and he fumble it.
- When a guy turbos laterally its IMPOSSIBLE to stay with him b/c of the delay when you press turbo(delay period).
- When your teammates never hustle back on D(I even put fastbreak 0, off reb. at 0, transition D? NONE)
- When you box out only to have the ball magically go to an out of position 6fter lol.
- No control in certain situations at all plus lagging?...
- THOSE RIGHT IN THE FACE CONTESTS THAT ARE LITERALLY FOULS THAT GUYS STILL MAKE AS IF THEY'RE WIDE OPEN. Its even in-face contest animations that tell you the shot is going in. I LITERALLY smack melo in his shh like 3 times back to back, no call but um swish, wet, ba baat, DAMN!......smh
The list goes on. I really do think that 2k14 will play different b/c 2k13 was the worst. I've tried everything on d but the thing is it depends on who your playing b/c you cant play everyone the same but you can do everything right on alot of possesions only to have some bs happen like for instance you tip a pass but a guy on offense magically beats you to the ball, picks it up and boom open lane dunk, on some arcade crazy shhh and it happens often especially on runs.......***NS?...... I wont even get started.
Yeah 2k13 was the worst so of course 2k14 will be good but its just crazy to make the game look bad to look good.
Dam you 2k, DAM, DAM, DAMmmm LOL!Last edited by DatGD12guage; 09-12-2013, 02:48 AM.Comment

Re: Admit it, you have rage quit more times in NBA 2K13 than in any other games combi
Broke 2 controllers on this game.
1 when i choked the game to go to houston to play for 100k. Stupid *** momentum system had me(boston) give up a 10 pt lead to okc in a minute .
and one when i lost on a novak contested 3 from 27 feet.
but yeah this gm made me rage more then ever just because stupid little **** ruined it.
sig skills def make the game a different ordeal and lack of contact in the paint just blows my mind, literally can spin and run hawk rev entry/la lob all gm without a problem vs someone who doesnt have an idea how to counter it.Comment

Re: Admit it, you have rage quit more times in NBA 2K13 than in any other games combi
I very rarely quit, but I have raged after the game like none other Lol. I'll be the first to tell you I love this game because when it's playing right it is poetry in motion. When things go bad though...it is ATROCIOUS! I keep coming back though LOL I can't explain it. I guess I just like the variety in playstyles. It's frustrating what works and what doesn't work in this game. It's so inconsistent. For some reason up & unders work too often with no contact, euro jumpshots (contested) go in at a high clip and the worst offender...for some reason 2K things just because you're standing still a jumpshot/3 point shot should go in! I think they made it this way so that the shooting percentages would be accurate but didn't take into consideration the type of shots you're getting. I don't know man...to 2k14 getting it right!

Re: Admit it, you have rage quit more times in NBA 2K13 than in any other games combi
I have never rage quit in 2k13 and i was really bad at the beginning, when i started playing 2k13 online, i had a couple of games were i lost by 15 or more points, but i never quit the game. Now obviously there were a couple of games were i was rageing pretty good once it was over, but for the most part i think i kept my cool
I don't really see the point in rage quitting, caus when you think about it, the only way you get better is by playing through those bad games, caus even when you are down by 15+ in the 4th quarter, you can still learn something from that game, caus obviously either your defense was not good enough or you couldn't score enough and sometimes it takes a whole game to figure out what your opponent is doing and if you rage quit, you don't give yourself the chance to figure it out and learn from it."We're talking about practice, we ain't talking about the game, we're talking about practice?" I still don't see the point of rage quitting, caus i've had ppl eurostep 3 cheese against me and i just tryed to stop them as good as possible, i've also had plenty of games were ppl were superstar abusing and had like 50 points with one player or something like that, if you rage quit you only make your opponent feel good about themself and if they were cheesing on you, you definetly don't want to give them the gratification of making you quit the game."We're talking about practice, we ain't talking about the game, we're talking about practice?"
