This better not just be my player blacktop with the word "CREW" slapped in front of it and leaderboards. From the video thats what it looks like.

Edit: And if crew games go to just 21 then they're really ****ing us over. How are we supposed to play a 3v3 half court game for 4 quarters? And in 5v5 do we have to have 5 players to start a game or will the CPU fill in? So many questions....We are not amused!!!

I am not trying to hear it. People in this thread keep telling y'all how it's not the "Crew" we wanted even though its an upgrade. Y'all keep posting the same thing. We explained how its not and y'all still don't understand so leave it alone.

All I can do is tell you is to ask yourself how would you feel if 2K made the regular games on the Blacktop? I bet y'all wouldn't be saying, "At least we have stats, leaderboards, and can play basketball". All hell would break loose. Y'all would want the atmosphere, commentary, plays, replays, animations when and all that other good stuff. Not going to change how we feel, we were expecting 2K11 type Crew.

I've played quick game matches in the Blacktop atmosphere, its still fun.

The point he's making is that (assuming that 5v5 is four quarter, 5 minute quarters) you shouldn't be pissed about the atmosphere. Crew is only defined as "5 v 5 between MyPlayers." When you guys get the basics, you STILL COMPLAIN ABOUT SOMETHING THAT IS SO SMALL IF YOU THINK ABOUT, no disrespect, but that's what I'm seeing.

The only people who should be pissed is Association/OA guys, nothing for them since 2K11.

Well, I don't agree and so does others that really played Crew in 2K10 and 2K11. I never said it might not be fun, but it won't be the Crew we wanted. I acknowledged its an improvement. I guarantee if 2K decided to put regular games on the Blacktop you and most people on here would be pissed.

It's small to you. You can't tell us how we should feel about something I doubt you know nothing about. So, leave it alone. You're not going to change people minds forreal.

Well, at least y'all always had y'all mode to play. I am sure as much as people try to slam 2K11 Crew, we would LOVE to be able to still play that to this day. I play association too and agree it needs to be improved. Y'all shouldn't be getting on "Crew" guys for wanting what they want, get on 2K. They need to work on both. Crew been gone and still no improvements to association.

It's not small to those who actually were fans of the original crew. It's not small for those who want to play a Team-Up style game with My Players in a pro-ball environment with all the trappings-- not a generic street basketball game. It's not up to you to define for them what "Crew" is and isn't and what they should be happy about, especially when 2K already defined Crew for themselves in 2K10 and 2K11. They are redefining it only as a marketting tactic, likely because they don't want to put in the effort it deserves. I mean they tried to redefine 3v3 Blacktop as "Crew" and get Team-Up guys to sign off on it! That is CRAZY, and I can't imagine 2K being so out of touch as to dream up that scheme.

What Crew guys are asking for is not at all unreasonable. So in some sense, it is "disrespect" to tell Crew diehards how they should and shouldn't feel about something that is undebatably several steps back.

Atmosphere and presentation are hugely important. People can sniff out the "Crew" mode hastily hacked onto Blacktop for what it is. Appointing yourself as 2K Crew mode apologist will not change that.

Just remember that everything you posted is YOUR oppinion. YOUR oppinion has been well heard, and we get it by now. YOU don't care about these details as much as us Crew guys. That's fine, but just remember that we are passionate about this mode, and we nitpick and criticize so much not because we want to come across as whiny, or selfish; but because we care. We want this mode to be the same mode that was so amazing just a couple years ago. Something that seems insignificant and small to YOU, is a key part of the equation for US. Yeah I know that. I know this an opinion, and my opinion is that atmosphere doesn't matter. To me, its the gameplay first. To you guys, its whatever. I played the mode back in 2K11, its coming back in the form of whatever. I'll play it, I just want fun. I'm mad for the fact that this is all based on footage of a old alpha build and no real facts. Little has even been revealed about crew and already people are going off assuming that its Blacktop Revamped. If that's the case, I will rage too. But for the time being, I will not complain about anything until I get real info.

Ok ,How about this. All summer leading up to 2k14 2k says absolutely nothing about association. You try and ask them on twitter , no response. You call their customer support line and they tell you "No game modes have been added or removed" so you trust that and keep your pre order (this is what happened to me going into 2k12) . Maybe two weeks before 2k14 is released they announce "Association mode has been removed because we cant continue putting out a broken mode and will only release it when its ready" . 2k15 comes around nothing. Now here comes NBA 2k16 , you've been playing quick games and thinking " Man i sure do miss running a team , drafting players , scouting , and having a continual season to season record, stats and all that. They hype up an announcement that everyone figures out instantly was association finally coming back and you have to wait a few more days to hear about that. And of course you do.

So the day of the announcement comes "Association IS BACK [insert pre-order link here] . Also a video is attached. You watch it , and you see something that you dont like at all. Theres no depth to the mode at all. You see the menu screen and the only option is play game . You stay calm and try to talk to them on twitter (or whatevers around in 2015) and all you see is them saying " we listen to our fans, this is what yall wanted !" And youre just sitting there like what about the stats, the rumor mill , scouting prospects , trades , building players , salary cap? Turns out , its just a season mode where players dont progress , you cant trade, no scouts , its just bare bones , its keeps a record , and you can play the game.

Then you got people trying to tell you, just be happy they gave you anything, its a building block.

You would be pissed.

You waited two years to play your favorite mode , and it was taken out because they wanted to improve before it came back, it comes back and its s*** . It's a shell of what it was /

There's a difference in this situation of Crew and Association dude. 2K has been trying to improve online overall to make it stable to have Crew return... Because fans wanted that.

Association has been the same for years... Because (unknown reason because we've been complaining about association as long as Crew, perhaps even longer since 2K9)

That is "Crew". It's the 3v3 Blacktop Crew and the only "Crew" they had to show, before they went back to implement 5v5 Crew after Team-Up guys refused to support and advertise "Crew" without it.

You can tell it's Crew because it keeps swapping from gameplay to the Crew selection screen and the Crew's team logo can be seen.

So the day of the announcement comes "Association IS BACK [insert pre-order link here] . Also a video is attached. You watch it , and you see something that you dont like at all. Theres no depth to the mode at all. You see the menu screen and the only option is play game . You stay calm and try to talk to them on twitter (or whatevers around in 2015) and all you see is them saying " we listen to our fans, this is what yall wanted !" everyone has the right to complain when they want to invest $60 dollars into a sport they love. going by your logic, we should be happy if they decided to re-release a 1995 NBA game since its basketball and at least we have it.

No, i can complain when im also a customer. No one is going to sit there and take whatever is fed to them so stop the bull****. I am a basketball lover and for the pass 4 years i've been fed naturally the same game with the same animations, spread with a few new features here and there, every year people expect new things and get disappointed. The "new feature" of actually being able to block dunks is beyond laughable since we are in 2013 already. It's the same BS animations that don't allow blocking to even commence in the first place. something that took them how many years to fix? all this stems from no competition.

And it's not like we can vote with our money and choose the competition because there is no competition. So we have a habit to fulfill with only one game to fulfill it with.

2k better hope that live is garbage because it's about time for another company to step in and listen to what fans are looking for.

In comparison, i don't hear any complaining from the GTA scene; wonder why?

If this crew mode is as lame as it seems , that's where my time and money are going. That looked incredible
