From what I'm understanding, he seems like the same kinda guy that runs back and forth shooting 3's on blacktop, or throwing oops every play...spamming the steal button because there's no fouls, etc.

Well, I've never really played 3v3 Blacktop in 2K13, so I don't know how he played in that mode. But in 2K10 and 2K11. Him and other cheaters was worse. Shooting 3's, throwing oops, and things like that and it being successful would be me and my teams fault.

So I have no problem w/ that stuff. What they did was actually cheat or exploit the game w/ hacked players and w/ tendencies. Also adding they played gimmicky by hopstepping and spin dunking. Then would lag you out of a game if you was about to win.

It's people like that, that ruin online gaming. Being competitive is what I'm all about, but I'd rather lose a game knowing I played 100% fair, then get a win after abusing every exploit known in game. It's not cheating, but it's about the corniest way to win a game, period.

Exactly. I am not into that cheese vs sim argument stuff because they are both stupid. Specially when "sim" people say stuff like, "You're shooting too many 3's in a game." And etc. That stuff is very dumb to me. I just play ball and I am not going to cheat you.

My guy was only 6'0" and still gave dudes problems. 2K11 was the most balanced 2K, so I felt like everything could be contained besides a very skilled spin dunker and someone that hopstepped. That's all I had a problem with and people that hacked. Everything else was fair game online.

I will say what I can... and that is that CREW is still being worked on/tweaked... 3v3 half court and 5v5 full court... blacktop I think is the type of court... but its not arcade, they brought the sim style gameplay to the blacktop, ld2k was mentioning that they want that mode to be competetive but on CG they are limited on what they can give (for customization) due to memory issues.

i think all of this has been said already, but just saying what i heard first hand from ronnie/ld2k

Thanks for the info JWill. It might not be exactly Crew, but it seems like it would be at least like Pickup games from 2K10 and 2K11, which is a big improvement over 3v3, no rules, and up to 21.

So... Reading between the lines, I noticed you mentioned that crews would be limited by the capabilities of current gen. Perhaps an even greater crew type mode is in store for next gen?

Not having jerseys or custom courts doesnt bother much at all. Its all just flash to me. The minimum requirements I want crew to have is.

Full Court 5 v 5.
4 quarters.
The same NBA rules as a regular quick game.
Sim Sliders.

If they give us all of that I will be happy.

Crew MMO? Sounds like it to me. I've been dying for a mode like this. If thats the case, all this talk of who's better and whos cheating and exploiting will be out the window. Imagine a world where your crew needs a stretch 5-Center, and you look on the 2k world map and you see every position available from all the people currently online. BAM! you found centers, but now you need to see what type of center he is, so you ivite him/her into your party and see if they want to try out for your crew, so you take em to the blacktop, or run a crew game. That would be so sick!

I dont think not having jerseys is a negative.

This gives us the opportunity to be creative and create your own customized crew uniform from whatever they have in the shop. Im sure they will probably have some jerseys in the myplayer shop.

Just have to get all your crew members to agree to wear the same thing.

Exactly. I feel the content in the MyPlayer store will Improve and are going to be much better in terms of creating a jersey. Like, Pink Top, White Shorts. You can't do that in CAT. I hope they improve CAT though, everything is too generic.

Not gonna quote your other thing you wrote way too much. But go back and read you post with the video it never said " Searched Online" so I was right to assume it was you. And all you did in that massive paragraph of nothing was confirm what I said that your players were hacked so I dont really get the point of writing that huge response lol

It kind of looks like we are gonna have this mode confined to the blacktop. If so ill give it a fair shot before I criticize too much, but can we at least have that stupid ****ing tree removed from the corner that makes the right side of the court dark?

If you werent in any of the top 10 crews on Xbox, i really didn't mess with ya'll too heavy. I mean honestly, is it that hard to believe that the top crew in 2K11 played legit?

Yes. This is why I'll take 2K13 Blacktop over 2K11 Crew. Just for the fact that the mode had way more integrity (up until the last couple months), and you could rely on the fact that everyone was on an equal playing field.

well sorry to burst your bubble, but we did, and theres no sense in going back and forth about hacked players. No one on my crew ran with anything taller than 7ft. I personally ran with 6'8 myplayer 99 percent of the time. Never lagged anyone out, or whatever crazy tactics Jrocc is speaking of. I have no reason to lie, but it's cool though, we'll see come october 1st.

Lol all those crews was bums . 7ft plus at every spot , hop stepping , pump faking dump trunks . And if you beat them , they'd lag it out . Pretty much the reason crew has been gone.

^^^this....everyone except for Miami Heat & Funeral Service played that way. The top 20 crews pretty much did exactly what you stated above...Especially when they knew they were playing against US. When ppl run into top crews, they do whatever they can for the win, and will have no problem telling you that they did it for the dub. Its all good, hopefully this year theres less glitches and more back-to-basics basketball.
