I don't think anyone needs the CPU. It would be worse if someone was playing a zone w/ all human players because everything would be getting tipped or stolen. You making it seem like CPU was better than a user. None of those guys were effective like you're making it seem.

You're acting like people could just give it to Bron or Dwight and he would go off. I am sure I played more crew than you and I've never seen someone feed the CPU and they get consistent buckets. It was actually dumb to have the CPU to shoot for you on offense. And their defense wasnt all that good either. You're over exaggerating and I hope the CPU is back when Crew comes back.

Maybe that doesn't apply to you, but it applies to many who are upset about having no CPU.

I thought this guy was a "Crew Head", but he sounds so ignorant to Crew lol. The CPU was terrible on offense and was decent on defense depending on the ones you had.

Go back and watch 2K11 gameplay, the cpu was HORRIBLE.
I lost a lot more games when I had more computers on my team than human players.

My Crew was tough, the cpu meant nothing. If you played realistic ball you could ALWAYS beat the cheesers. Not the cheaters with the uncapped giants, but the spinning dunk bums and stuff like that.

Like I said in above post, whether they are good or not is not the main issue. The main isssue is having CPU makes the game artificial. AI, CPU, artificial, non-manual, programmed, scripted. Half your players are playing organically, half your players are playing scripted. That ain't crew. Don't call it crew then, call it my player co-op. Crew supposed to replicate real ball, and having drones on the court ruins that.

Talking about some 21 blacktop... I just don't understand how the hell you ignore your fans so blatantly. It's as if EA has struck a deal with them in order to increase their revenue. I just save $500+ not bothering with their bull anymore.

Why the hell would they even put in 3v3 halfcourt? And make it 5v5 where all players have to be humans. Even in blacktop on '13 cpu filled in spots. How does a company downgrade each year. First crew had custom court in 10, then strictly jerseys 11, nothing 12, hacktop (with cpu filled spots) 13, 13's offline 5v5 hacktop converted to online. Complete bull NEVER buying this crap again until they listen.

Alright, man, it's your opinion. I just think its dumb to have to either play 5v5 or 3v3. We should have the option to have CPU teammates. You're not changing my opinion or most others.

Elitist attitude...not being able to play 5 on 5 crew games because you currently only have 4 people online is stupid as hell. Just set it up so that you need 3 minimum. I never saw a team in Crew mode that relied on the CPU to carry the team.

Also lets be honest their is not much real basketball played in Crew mode anyway, CPU or Human. Its a mode filled with a bunch of bs.

yeah can't agree on everything, which is fine. but I don't think the ranters on twitter speak for everyone. some of us like the fact that there's no CPU because it makes the mode more like real basketball.

I agree. 3v3 would be perfect. Never ever seen a CPU player lead a Crew to victory. This guy talking about CPU cheese lmao.

But then why some of the Crew guys going off about 5v5, realism, immersion, blah, blah, blah.

Ive been told by Crew guys, 5v5 HAS to be there, well, if we want CPU players, than whats the point of 5v5 when 3v3 is an option? Please tell me why a lot of people begged for 5v5, but also wanted CPU players as fillers for 5v5. (Understand for the 4 member moments, other than that, I don't see anything else.)

Not about to dive deep into this. I'll give you one of my reasons, just play a blacktop 3v3 game and tell me that's real basketball. ALL that open court. It's so easy to score in that setting is ridiculous. It's not realistic playing on a court w/ 3 guys defending 3 people.

People wanted 5v5 because they wanted a realistic basketball setting, not a pickup game. They didn't say, all 10 players has to be a user. Look at a Crew game and then look at blacktop 3v3 and tell me which one looks like real basketball. It's barely any bball strategy on defense or offense with 3 players on each side. C'mon, it's common sense.

Exactly! lol. I'll tell ya why. I played 2k11 crew. What do they do? Call 1-3-1 zone with Lebron. Then spam that double team when you get in the paint. That ain't crew! It's lazy man defense. They can call it what they want but that ain't how the mode was supposed to be played, or is it how REAL basketball is played. The whole thing about crew was this first person POV, replicate 5on5 real humans action. Drones and bots does not replicate that.

So imo, good for 2K for making the right decision on this. They've given us options for when hardly no1 is on (play 3on3) or when you have a full squad.

That's on the users. Hey I've gone to pickup games irl and guess what? Sometimes there's a bunch of sucky players who have no clue how to play, and sometimes there's college-level competition. As long the gameplay is balanced, a lot of it "looking real" will depend on the users.

Both. Everyone is use to seeing 5v5, but its always possible to play "sim" with at least 2 teammates. (2 v 2 would be just PnR)

Its common sense that if a group plays with a real life strategy, its realistic and sim. Doesn't matter the setting. Your park, your gym, or the NBA.

2v2 isn't a real simulation of basketball neither is 3v3. Like I said, watch Crew and then watch Blacktop Mode. Way easier to score in 3v3 and a big part of the reason is because how much space is on the court.

Basketball was really meant to be played with 10 players on a court. Sure you can play a 3v3 or whatever, but it's not a real simulation of basketball.

Basketball is a sport played by two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The objective is to shoot a ball through a hoop 18 inches (46 cm) in diameter and 10 feet (3.0 m) high mounted to a backboard at each end.

Street basketball is a variation of the sport of basketball typically played on outdoor courts, featuring significantly less formal structure and enforcement of the game's rules.
