i like what i see on that list. i'm very interested to see what this pro stick does. it sounds like a slightly upgraded version of the shot stick...but i never liked the shot stick + modifier trigger control, so i abandoned the stick for the button...so i may not be getting much use out of this pro stick, since it probably requires the modifier trigger. i may have to force myself to try it, though...if it really gives you that much more control.

A lot of it sounds like fluff. The most important thing I took from that was the dynamic updates, which is a far cry from the 2k insider updates that take forever.
Sad to see that MyTeam will be current gen only. Looks like 2k has decided that they will wait until 2k15 to actually make a deep next gen game in terms of content.Comment

In this economy I don't like to see anyone get laid off dream but I got to side with you on this man. LOL..Hopefully 2k has employed him elsewhere.
My favorite news: Enhanced dribbler vs. on-ball defender contact - Defenders can now initiate steals, hard bumps, and charges out of defensive rides, making locking up players on defense a much more engaging experience. Can't wait to check this out. There was lots of other great info too..Playbooks was another standout...EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Is this only a partial features list or an official list covering all new additions? To be more succinct, could there still be big things coming that have not been revealed? Or will the next two months just be covering everything summed up here?
I'm thinking largely about the Path to Greatness Mode and as to whether that will include new classic teams (or whether all the previous classics are still present).Comment

Lets hope so. They said they have enhanced passing but they didn't mention much about the speed of them. Also a little nervous about the fancy passing reference. We will need a hands on...

Smoother movement? I'm going to be paying attention on the setting picks animation and those 3000 new animations should be more contact animations. I would love to see no arms going through the rim anymore....the play should be aware and pull back his arm when he's directly under the rim.Key Gameplay Features:

I'm guessing this is what Mike Wang was talking about when he talked about fully incorporating the control stick. Not sure why this is needed. We already have something called "Run Best Play", by pressing right on the D-Pad and then LT, and it sucks. It's random and after a while the same five plays keep getting called. Simplifying this function to a button hold will not get casuals to start calling plays. Balanced gameplay will. This is encouraging. Hopefully this will improve the Pick and Roll game, and the ball handler won't have to take so much time going round the pick. Good to hear about more explosive cuts. Always good to hear that there are thousands of new animations in the game. Where they are distributed though is important as that determines what is "favoured"/overpowered in the game. Always good to hear about the playbook being expanded. Really glad they've addressed the spacing. Good to hear they addressed handoffs and interested in what they've done with the give and go, as the mechanics as they are now don't make it a useful option. Not really sure what this feature is about. I assumed from the title that it meant you would now be able to deny a player the ball again, just like 2K11 and games before it, but this seems to be addressing a problem in 2K12, where it's so hard setting a pick in MyPlayer because of the suction from the defenders.All New Ball Denial - No more getting stuck during off ball bumps and ball denial, allowing for complete freedom of control over your players away from the ball.
Great news. This is something which 2K13 looks really ugly at. I'm glad we'll be able to take charges out of defensive rides again like in 2K11/12. I'm sure you're already able to steal during defensive rides even if it's not as common as 2K12. The title here is sort of misleading. 2K posted this on Facebook as "current-gen features", so when they say "Crew and MyTEAM only on PS3 and X360" they certainly mean these modes aren't available for PC, but it doesn't say anything about next-gen (highly unlikely PS4 and X1 versions lack them). Also, next-gen exclusive features are a strong possibility, since there'd be no reason to post current and next-gen features separatedly if there were no differences.Comment

I'm very confident sim players are going to be extremely happy with the gameplay this year. Dev's looked at fan feedback and took everything into consideration.
