Calling all online league players/which system will you be getting?

Does SIM nation also have their league for PC?

Not yet we will only be running on next gen this year.

Xbox, Never had an issue with my 360, I actually like the kinect (I'm sure it will have useful features!) and the controller just suits better

Still uncertain which system I will be getting as I need to buy a new TV first. Finding out the next-gen systems are not compatible with CRT TV's leads me to buying a new TV first, lol stuck in the past finally bit my @$$ haha. Also how do I enter the OS Sim League, really interested in playing sim ball with other OSers.

I'm rolling with the PS4 first. Microsoft turned me off with their policies. As of right now, I think I'll get more value for my money with Sony's system. I'll consider XB1 when all the 180 dust settles.

Do you have it for current gen? I am wondering how good you guys really are, since I consider myself a pretty decent sim baller. But unfortunatelly I don't own PS3 or XBOX360... only PC.

Can someone list the major differences besides price of the 2 systems. I know Microsoft has changed everything it seems after their initial announcement.

On Current Gen 360's online is way better than playstation 3.

1) you can play music on your 360 hard drive as you play. Can't on playstation.

2) you can actually see when your friends are playing on 360 and the score of the game, can't on Ps3.

3)You can list yourself as being offline while online on 360. On Ps3 once you log on everyone knows.

4)360 sticks vibrate in hot zones. Ps3 does not.

5) 360 has a quicker shot release timing than Ps3 shot release timing on 2k13.

6) Load times on 360 seem faster to me.

7) Easier for me to find a 12 min hof game on 360.

With that being said, I think more than the $100 difference Microsoft disrespected alot of consumers, and people aren't willing to accept the "my bad" response they gave. Additionally, to a person like me who grew up in a time where personal space, and privacy were important. The xbox one is a little to intrusive for my liking. Also, there are some basketball fans that also like baseball (The show).

See I don't care that they initially screwed up. They corrected it. Plus they don't require the all seeing eye now. You can turn it off. From all the things you listed Xbox was better in a lot of ways, do you see this changing? I mean its Microsoft. I want the best online experience I can get. I love the show though too, but I'm not going to get ps4 just for 1 game.

1 thing that intrigues me more with the ps4 is the spectator mode. That would be awesome for online leagues and being able to scout a opponent, police a league, or even coach someone! Lol! I know xbox1 has twitch tv recording capabilities as well too right? Is 1 better than the other in this respect?

I really prefer Xbox controller by far over the ps4 too...

As far as the big things that xboxone corrected -

The kinect is no longer mandatory , but it still ships with one. As far as I know , the PS move , you have to buy separate

Xbox reversed policies on used games

X now ships with headset which they initially didnt

I know the PS4 now will be charging like the xbox does for online gaming.( Which to me is not a big deal. I think PS HAD to so that for security reasons after being hacked last year and there online servers being down for 3 months or something like that)

Listen , its all about preferences. I personally think the xbox has more that I like and fits me better.

Twitch can be watched on the xbox1 because the xbox1 has online - Its essentially spectator mode.haha

It would be interesting to see how many guys are making a switch. Throw a poll up and see how many people are switching "from x to ps" - "from ps to x" or "staying with their console"

EDIT - reading through , I see Xboxone updated the specs to more closely match the PS4 from a graphical standpoint and a few other tech things that I have no idea what they mean.lol. Regardless , looks like they have a final spec list posted a few days before gamescon and it looks to be finalized.

Playing sim guys from OS is the only way to go! You won't ever want to play a quick play match again!

nah they all cheese... Both system thoug but of course ps4 is coming first thats what i will get

Why? Microsoft really turned me off this generation with the crazy failure rate of the Xbox 360. I had two 360 systems crap out on me after just a year of use. the 2nd time Microsoft wouldn't replace it because the system stopped working but didn't get the "red ring"...so Microsoft screwed me out of a free replacement on a technicality. After that I switched to PS3 and vowed to never buy a Microsoft system again. I've had my PS3 for 3-4 years now and it's still going strong. Had PS2 before that, never had a problem with that either. In short: Sony seems to make more reliable products based on my experience.

I don't think many of the people listing PS4 realise that the majority of the policies they didn't like for the Xbox One have now been changed by Microsoft.

Xbox One Day One for me.

It's pretty simple, my kids love kinect, and this new kinect is much better. Xbox One is the way to have two consoles in one, one for my kids (so my wife will be much happier either, hehe) and the other for me and my sports games. Besides, here in Europe we will get a free copy of Fifa 14 if we preorder, so it is a no brainer to me...
