I'm pretty sure he says "Up High and Down Hard!" at some point in the game.

With Stern retiring, maybe 2K15 can be more lenient...

For MP, I'd love to do the Allen Iverson 'Practice' rant in a press conference.

Yeah, I might be wrong on that one. I'm not sure if it's still in, but here's a 2K12 video of it:

      sounds pretty lame though

        This according to Chase. http://www.operationsports.com/featu...3/nba-2k10-qa/

Kevin Harlan's "right between the eyes" comment is not allowed to be in the game because it's a violent reference -- would affect the ESRB rating.

Harlan just needs to say it with his usual emotion.

Sometimes things are stupid for no reason but "WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!"

That's my whole rationale on this.

I'd love to hear Kevin Harlan say "OOOOHHH KOBE BRYANT....JUST SUCKED THE GRAVITY RIGHT OUT OF THE BUILDING".

I think it's a PC thing too but I also think even more people would by the game if things were in the game like technicals, flagrants and trash talking. I'd love to be able to get physical with some dude who keeps cheesing online lol.

That should be a new Harlan catchphrase for 2K14.

Sucking the gravity out of a room would pose serious risk of injury as everything floats around. It would also cause liquids to be uncontrollable and make quite a large mess on people's clothes.

                      Tots not cool.

They would not lose sales if he said that comment and the esrb rating went up from E. But Its their decision..Maybe in the future have a DLC for new voice overs?

It has nothing to do with David Stern. It's actually because of the game rating. It'd be given a harsher rating if Harlan said his two most popular catch phrases. I'm not sure where I read it (maybe IGN or GameSpot) but apparently these were originally recorded when Harlan first recorded commentary and had to be taken out to avoid a T rating.

So it's alright for me to mow people down in GTA but it's not alright for Kevin Harlan to say something that I've never even thought could be taken as some violent?

GTA is a Mature rated game. 2K is rated Everyone. He's trying to say that using Harlan's lines would affect the rating (and possibly hurt sales):

                              EVERYONE
Content is generally suitable for all ages. May contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence and/or infrequent use of mild language.

                              EVERYONE 10+
Content is generally suitable for ages 10 and up. May contain more cartoon, fantasy or mild violence, mild language and/or minimal suggestive themes.

                              TEEN
Content is generally suitable for ages 13 and up. May contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood, simulated gambling and/or infrequent use of strong language.

                              MATURE
Content is generally suitable for ages 17 and up. May contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language.
At worst, I don't see how it'd make the game any higher than Everyone 10+ (how many people under 10 are playing 2K, or have parents uptight enough to ban an E10 game?).

But I doubt ratings are the issue, considering people have actually heard "right between the eyes". And is this, or "no regard for human life" really any worse than some of the unedited stuff on the soundtrack:

                              "The feds hate me"

"He don't like me, hit him while wifey was with him"

"I'm ya mama's crib waiting ductaping your fam"

"*** step up, we just macin them, placin' them in funerals..."

"The Mobb comes equipped for warfare beware of my crime family"

"Ain't no such thing as half way crooks"

                              etc

I really doubt they removed it because of the E rating, considering that Harlan says these quotes uncensored on national TV.

On a side note, would love a commentary trio of Harlan, Kerr & Miller w/ Craig Sager as the sideline reporter- This would definitely bring some authenticity and realism to my liking...
