2K Sports has released some more NBA 2K14 player ratings for the following players. We will update this post, if other player ratings are revealed today.

what does westbrook do better than rondo? scoring ok i give u that but other than free throw shooting and scoring, rondo is the more complete player! rondo is a better rebounder,passer, defensive they're pretty much as good as each other except its "national tv rondo"! rondo also had a more consistent jumpshot than westbrook within 23 feet and rondo is no doubt the smarter player!!! once rondo starts hitting those 3s and free throws hes probably the best PG in the league...Westbrook > Rondo?

By the looks of these ratings (top draft picks - high ratings) , I'm just going to assume that 2K is still using the same system they have been using for years.


So when you play association these guys will be rated in the high 80's after 1 season and every flaw (fast development) is still in the game.


It's totally unrealistic that Bennett has a 76 rating and Gasol 81. I know these ratings are simply a number and there is so much more to it because of tendencies, capabilities, ... but this is 2K and they have shown that the a high overall rating matters.

I personally have no problem with these. I think Rose should be a tad higher, LeBron and PG should be a tad lower. Other than that no problems at all from me.

Well said, i agree 100%. I don't think 2k realises the ramifications their high overall system (especially for young players) has on Association.

Nothing wrong with a Chicago fan asking for rival Pacers, Heat star players getting a ratings drop, while theirs' getting a boost.

LD2K already stated that Day 1 the ratings will change.


@nogster, whether that includes tendency updates... still to be seen. I've asked the question to LD2K and Ronnie2K but never received any word back.

Dude, you can't judge a player for 1 game... Have you seen him in summer league? Impressive player (yes, I know its SL, but he was impressive anyways)

I usually don't pay much attention to overall ratings, but analazyng his strengths , with just 68 overall I bet he will be severelly underrated in a lot of attributes. I mean, Chris freaking Johnson is 66 overall.... So this looks like a slap in the face for Zeller

Dude, I know that's why I said in my initial post that "one game does not a baller make". Just not blown away with the guy whenever I watch him play in NCAA and no I don't watch Summer League. If he turns out to be a great productive player in the pros more power to him I don't benefit from his success or failure...
