Are the crowd reactions legit? Meaning that after a big shot, does the crowd go wild or "mild"? Playoff atmosphere? Finals atmosphere? I should feel a difference between all three of these.
Whatever you do, don't give constructive criticism or say anything negative about Madden video games! It seems to be the equivalent of a felony...

If it helps, there's a buzzer beater at home around the 35:50 mark of the video below:

        <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/9C0FlINsEFk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Edit: Ah, for some reason I thought you said buzzer beaters or game winners. Still, I think that video could provide some indication.

I cant find it. I know ASW is still in the game because there are new custom music features for it but its no longer available outside of a franchise or season.

When starting on Online Association do you have the option to use a Downloaded Roster or do you have to use 2K's?

I hope this isn't everything new to MyCareer. That mode has significantly regressed(or stagnated) as much as progressed every year.

Did they change the way you advance the league in OA?

                    aholbert32,

I thought of a couple more questions last night while playing a 2k13 game.. (imagine that.)

These two are control related and I've not seen them addressed anywhere:

1: Is there still "flopping" and is it still controlled by double tapping the screen button? (despite hundreds of 2k13 games played, I still sometimes send myself sprawling by accidentally initiating a flop. I hate this.)

2: How is faking a pass controlled and does it flow naturally from animation to pass when done?

These two are asking for your impressions related to the MyCareer and Association modes:

3: Are there any improvements to rotations and substitutions?

4: Is the MyPlayer being played 41 minutes as in years past?

Again, thank you for your answers in advance.

How does the control of the player feel in respect to recent 2K's of the past? Do they still have a bit of a (IMO) sluggish feel to them?

Appreciate you taking the time to do this. I just have a couple of questions:

                        • In MyCareer, how is off ball contact on the perimeter? Does the CPU still harass you nonstop? And can they still force the user to post up when you're both standing near the paint?

                        • Are All Star Game rotations cleaned up? Meaning, can you start and play more than 10 minutes in the game? And does it feel more like the All Star Game? Is it more uptempo with more 3's, more lobs, isos and less defense with no set plays?

                        • Do the commentators still refer to you by your nickname instead of your last name?

I'm guessing it's been removed to frustrate VC farmers.

Another victim of 2K's casuals/VC oriented design direction.

No idea why CAL needs to be removed. To make Path to Greatness look more special?

My guess is that they needed the space on the disk for the PtG mode. Just as the Euroleague teams replaced the Olympic teams (both in space and function) the Path to Greatness took the place of Create a Legend.

I'd not be surprised if next year's cover athletes don't have their own specific "Path to greatness" stories. Imagine having Chris Paul on the cover and then having his path to greatness next year. Then the following year you'll see Paul George, etc.

Edit: The NG systems supposedly have more space for storage so for the NG titles I bet they will have more modes.

Finally i'm happy of the triangle offense in NBA 2k11, 12, 13.
I discovered yesterday night in 2k13 Lake Pin Hugh a mid range play of the Lakers 2013, it is a good triangle.

Could you tell me if there is other new triangle offense in the playbook of the classic bulls, or if in current team, you can still find in the lakers 2014 or other teams, the same triangle or improved or new play using the triangle?

                              Thanks.

This year that won't be the case, unless something has changed in the last month. 2K put out that info over the summer listing what's in what versions and next gen is without a couple - no my team and I think they'll miss out on crew? Can't remember exactly.
