Whats the bug?
The team with the worse season record in NBA finals gets home court advantage. You can almost start calling it the Miami Heat On the Road bug. And I'm not talking about the seeding; I'm talking the season record. The team with best season record is thus guaranteed to lose home court advantage in the Finals.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)
Both in MyCareer and Association. I'm not surprised if it's in basically every game mode that involves the NBA finals.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
Just sim a season/playoff/association and get to a point where 2 teams face off in the Finals. It's there every time.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every single time. In fact it's been there since, forever? And they haven't fixed it. It's so simple to fix. Damn it this isn't even about some complicated game mechanics stuff.

Do you have video or pictures?
I actually don't. But you don't need mine, you just need to see for yourself. It's there in Finals every single time.

This has been a bug for at least the past 3 years in the game.

I had it 2 days ago, on the 'loading custom shoe data...' screen.
Eventually i managed to get it to work through the freeze by keeping the PS XMB menu up.

Whats the bug?

Random player named ******* appears in mycareer mode. He's on my team for some strange reason. He's a 41 year old PF with terrific outside.

I searched online, other people have had this same problem but don't know the solution.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the fact I'm playing the imported official 2k13 training camp (october 31) rosters but when I check manage rosters, the **** player does not exist anyway.

I just spent all my VC on my player which is a shame since I've been saving up. Also I liked the fact that I was drafted by the Raptors so feels like such a shame if I have to restart. Is there anyway for me to fix this bug/ glitch? Or edit the player out even. The guy ruins the immersion for me and he eats up a lot of playing time (starter) so I don't want him to be on my team.

I'm playing PS3 Mycareer by the way.

Hello there. I am new and just registered. I have a couple of questions and possible glitches.

It is the third straight season I am experiencing this. The problem is that the max match that during the season my team has is 54. I know that it must be 82 but it does not go further than that. I and my team play all the matches till the all star weekend and then after that everything and every game is skipped till the end of the season, awards and then the start of the play offs. Is this a glitch? if so, how can I fix it?

The other thing is that during the dunk contest, I do a dunk, the commentator`s go all crazy but I receive low score. How?

And the last one. I know that the all star weekend is consisted of east vs west match-up, dunk contest and three point shooting contest. The previous season I understand that I was not able to play the east vs west match cause it was my second year as a rookie despite being selected in the pole. But this season again I won and was selected in the pole but in the all star weekend There was no game, no east vs west. The game just skipped that part of the schedule although I was selected. What is the problem?

Oh and there is also this problem. In addition to the fact that despite winning the pole contest for nba all star team in all star weekend twice now and then the game skipping that match and not playing it despite winning and/or being invited to, there is this achievement for hall of fame progress that says "getting selected 5 time all star team" or something like that and although I wont the pole twice and I was supposed to play in the all star match east vs west but for some reasons did not, the achievement says 0 although I had won and was selected twice. I don`t know if it is a bug or there is a dlc that I should download or something. (I participate in dunk contest and three point shootout with no problem) please someone, it is making me mad. someone help me.

After I played the Slam Dunk Contest in MyCareer, all my scheduled games disappeared. I knew this glitch was in previous NBA 2K games. Is there any way to fix it?

Everytime I finish this game against the Pacers, theres a press conference, then it says "Coachs Office-After the Game," but it never goes there. Instead, it brings me back to the home screen and upon returning to MyCareer, it plays as if that game against the Pacers never happened. I've gone through this cycle 7 times and re-installed my game with no luck

I have the EXACT same problem, it's driving me nuts. My career is unplayable. Nice to see I'm not the only one.

I've reformatted my Xbox One, tried saving at different points, and even created a new player, all failed. When creating a new player the same thing happens.

Did you delete a former My Player and make a new one? I had 2 others and decided to make a 3rd, which ended up being my permanent one. When I stopped using the other 2, I deleted them and the problem started to occur. It won't save and crashes randomly.

The weirdest part to this is the My Players that I deleted, reemerge. As of now I've terminated all my players. BUT, when creating a new one, it's saved into the first save slot. Instead of keeping the player I just made it somehow reloads the 1st My Player I created, even tho it's deleted. Talk about coming back from the dead. I desperately want to delete all my 2K stuff, hoping this would be a fix but everything must be saved on the 2K server.

Crazy stuff.

when i press L1 for a double team, nothing happens. I can press and hold it but that doesnt do anything either. Is it even possible to double team?

I have exactly the same glitch as you guys, gets to all star weekend, rising star game is fine as well as 3pt contest and dunk contest, no all star game and straight to playoffs, I'm on the pc so seems like an universal bug.

Always happens when trying to finish the game (the day before I saved at the start of the 3rd quarter).
The only difference between that day and now is that I don't get a connection to the 2k-Servers (I play on PC).
