So, as usual I decided to go with a SG, this year i went with the Athletic type, because surprisingly the 3pt rating was worse than in last year's game.
In the Rookie Showcase, I played pretty well... scored 20+ points pulled down some rebounds, handed off some assists and since the new blocking system(and btw i LOVE it) i sent home 3 shots.
As a result of my "good" performance, I got interviewed by the 76ers, Kings and Trail Blazers. Decided to go with the Kings.
At first it was pretty disappointing since everybody in my team was unable to finish inside easy shots and I personally couldn't make any shots from behind the arc. At first we went on a losing streak, 0-4, but then we started getting our things together.
After the 6th game I took over the starting position. We started winning some games.
Now everything's pretty good, the only thing I am only worried about is my worst teammate John Salmons - he rarely passes me the ball when I ask him to do so and he's missing a lot of wide open shots.
I got about a month heading into the all-star break,
I prolly get into the 3pt contest, since I have upgraded my 3pt rating a lot and it's dropping. And I think I get into the dunk contest also.
So far I really like the new PRO STICK and as I already mentioned the new BLOCKING SYSTEM, it makes so much interesting while playing defense, like you're in control or that's at least what it looks like.

Well, I just had my first career playoff triple double. 36 points, 11 assists and 12... TURNOVERS! The ballhandling, or lack thereof, is a joke. I have maxed out Ballhandling (92),
Off Hand Dribbling (92), Ball Security, (90), and Offensive Awareness (90) and I still lose the ball or dribble off someone's leg or foot no less than 10 times every game. No joke. This kind of junk just doesn't happen in NBA or even College Basketball games. Complete nonsense. This mode has gotten worse the last 3 years.

Just lost game 3 to OKC and now we trail 2-1. I got a feeling its scripted for us to lose this series. No way they're gonna allow us to beat these guys 3 of the next 4 games smh

After trailing the Thunder 2-1 I didn't think we would be allowed to come back and win that series. Games 4 and 5 were back and forth struggles with us (Kings) winning game 4 in OKC and the Thunder winning game 5 in Sacramento, thanks to some big-time 4th quarter heroics by KD. We came out in game 6 and dominated from start to finish, winning by 28. Game 7 was epic with me and Russell Westbrook going basket for basket. Me and Chandler Parsons came up big in the 4th, and we were able to pull off the victory in game 7. It seems like they set it up for this series to go 7, and it was a really tough series. Now we move on to Denver in the Western Conference finals, and we wiped the floor with them in game 1, winning by 33. I'm not gonna count the Nuggets out yet, because I lost game 1 in the previous 2 series against the Clippers and Thunder, and came back to win. I just can't catch a break with all these quick PGs in the Western Comference ( CP3, Westbrook, now Ty Lawson). Miami looms in the Eastern Conference finals, so that will be a battle of epic proportions if we should meet in the finals.

Still not on the league leaders list despite putting up gaudy numbers (34.3ppg, 11.6apg,7.3rpg,2.7spg)

no u don't have to be MVP b/c i got mines way before i was MVP u have to make a few all star games I think

I don't know about you guys, but I just made my first game-winner, It felt pretty good. As a result we won our 12th game straight.
Unfortunately we lost the next game ruining our win streak.

Double post lol..
So after a few more dominating games, I was traded to the Lakers straight up for Steve Blake. I'm really excited about this, already the starting PG over Nash with 41mins per game. Anybody have any experience with the Lakers this yr? Hopefully I can continue Kobe's legacy and win some rings!

Were you the default overall when you got traded? I keep trying to get traded to the Lakers as a PG but it doesn't seem to work for me. Currently about to try 67 overall to be the level of their lower PG's.

Edit: Of course after simming ahead to see, I get traded to them just as I make this post. I played with Kobe my second year in a previous save on the Pelicans, hopefully first year Kobe is better at making his 3's.

Nice! Yeah I got traded after about 15 games, here's my analysis of the main guys (All Star, Sim):
Kobe: surprisingly only shoots about 5 times a game. Even when I Iso him, he tends to pass it right back. He's great when he shoots, but that's rare.
They signed Stephen Jackson in mine, he shoots everything......and often misses
Gasol: he has his good and bad days. Sometimes can't make a layup, others he routinely converts and-ones. Just depends.
Kaman: pretty "meh", misses lay ups and struggles to rebound consistently
Jordan Hill: this guy outperforms Gasol and Kaman for me, I feed him often when I want assists
Nick Young: really want to get him more minutes, he shoots at will and makes a good amount of 3's. Wish he played more over Jackson

All in all I like this team. Kobe has been disappointing, but I'm looking forward to seeing where we go in FA. Almost to the AS break in season 1 sitting around the .500 mark. Missing another couple pieces to make this a winning franchise.

Umm yeah thanks, the game got down to this. The games are usually going wire-to-wire, but when you have won 10+ games in a row, the CPU forces you to lose at some point.

First of all, you gotta have good shoot in traffic (about 70 should do) and then go in the post, start going towards the basket, don't press the RT but just move with RS. Then start doing a hook or a different post shot, but don't release the shot, just pretty much pump fake it. After that there's a chance of defense falling for it, and when you straight up with it, you might get a foul. If your shoot in traffic is good enough, this move should do.

What kind of player are you playing with? Strength plays a factor. Also I would recommend using the sprint button to aggressively back down defenders. Once you get where you want let go off tje sprint button to perform your move. I recommend learning to do post fadeaway. It creates tons of space and uses shot timing. The hook works but its like the layup can miss when you least expect it.

As for rebounding I like to just run in there and just try to grab them. I find that holding sprint and jump helps me. Itcould be assuming. From the post...hold l2 to box out and towards the basket. Sometimes ypur player will perform a move to get you in front of someone boxing you out.
