I averaged 47 ppg against the bulls and felt like I was scoring way too much so I tried to get others involved and lost game one to the heat. I get way too angry when I play the heat and felt it best for my controller to not go out the window to start another guy. Right now I have an athletic pg for my mavs in working into the starting lineup straight from scratch. Took him offline as to not have to switch if I ever wanna play blacktop and also force me to grind him up. Anyways, I love how out of 12 rotation spots 8 of our guys are guards even after they traded me for our starting center in dalembert. Luckily I had added some signature skills to Brandon wright and bumped his rebounding a bit cuz he is playing better on the glass after a few dnp's last year for that reason. Plus, I needed him to be a bigger contributer so coach would give him minutes and did the same thing with dejuan Blair. Problem is, I have 70 rated Larkin and 67 rated gal mekel with more minutes than the now 73 rated Blair. Worst thing is, once I get the starting slot Jose will be my 6th and will have to use my more minutes gm conversation for Vince since he only has seven minutes. Even tho he's rated higher than Marion and Ellington who both have more minutes. I wish they didn't make these coaches so ******** in this game.

My 7'2 Center from Hong Kong got drafted 6th by the Pelicans. He's the next Yao Ming, who plays almost like him. It was a good situation since they didn't have any good centers. Playing alongside Anthony Davis has been fun, blocking shots in the paint.

6'8'' 220 lb All-around SG. Got a B in the pre-draft game. Owned that Ellis dude. Drafted 8th by the Pistons. Started out really slow....finally got my minutes bumped up to around 25 mpg now. Playing most of 4th quarter each game. Averaging 20.2 ppg, 2 apg, 1.6 rpg. Can't finish well around the hoop but I nail the open J's with ease. Team is 18-7, third in east.

Would like to get more assists but im guessing there are 4 of 5 times each game where I feed a post player for an easy layup and they blow it or get fouled. If I can feed someone for an open jumper (rare), they make it every single time.

Anybody have any recommendations for a jump shot style to use that is easy for timing?

I'm in love with Bosh jumper Allen release. It isn't super fast. But it works well for my playing style.

The more I try to play "real" basketball in Mycareer, the more frustrated I get, and I'm sure everyone else is. The horrendous teammate AI, lack of custom sliders, lack of custom rosters, idiotic dynamic goals and unrealistic playstyles makes this a pretty trash game mode in terms of its game-play.

Playing 6'7 SG in my second year and literally every game the team will absolutely have no chance for me to win unless I put a 40pt triple double or a 60 point game. Almost every game ends up in 100-125 pt territory which is laughable, it appears that 2K believes that basketball is all about offense.

All-star is too dam easy, Hall of Fame too ridiculous, so Superstar barely resembles realistic basketball.

Why do my teammates sag off of 3pt shooters every single defense? On offense, why to they stand in one place and refuse to do anything with the ball other than pass it back to you? Why does every baseline, post fadeaway shot go in? Why are bench scrub players using kobe/jordan esque moves? Because this is trash gameplay if you want to play somewhat realistic ball.

This gamemode is perfect if you want to **** around and go for 40-100 points every game, because you will win that way. Trying to play Mycareer any other way is an absolute joke.

But then again, this is just a video game. If you want realistic basketball then just go outside and play at your gym lmao.

Teammate chemistry has a lot to do with it too. But you're absolutely right about the terrible ai. The worst part is that it's been like this since my player was created.

I agree with you, teammates leaving opponent CPU wide open for 3 is by far the most frustrating thing, other than multiple offensive rebounds. You work so hard to get the lead, and it vanishes just like that.

I have this same problem too on the Pelicans. For some odd reason, they would rather have Darius Miller as the 6th man, who is only a 64 rating, and Brian Roberts with big minutes off the bench. Austin Rivers is rated higher than both, but yet he's always inactive. This mode is strange.

Do any of the defensive sig skills make a difference for you guys? I'm thinking about getting pickpocket but I don't want to drop VC on a sigskill that won't really make a difference.

6'6" 230lb. All-Around SG on the BKN in my 4th season. I got to 15,000 career points last game.

Do any of the defensive sig skills make a difference for you guys? I'm thinking about getting pickpocket but I don't want to drop VC on a sigskill that won't really make a difference.

The only defensive skills I skills I can vouch on is lockdown and active hands for a PG. Active hands works well when playing the passing lanes and when an opponent is driving.

I broke the single season record for 3's lol, didn't even think I was close to it. Just one more goal away from qualifying for the HOF(make 5 all star appearances).

Also just beat the spurs in the first round of the playoffs and am moving on to face the timberwolves. Likely going to be me against the Pistons (my old team!) in the finals!

2k must favor the Timberwolves because I have played 3 my players and all 3 they are very good. I mean really good. You have to pressure shooters because they will kill you on the threes.

Hey guys I'm wondering if anybody else had this error. I played 53 games in my season, played every single 12 min quarters so it takes awhile. I pressed, play next game and rest of season simulated, to my advantage lol. Made playoffs and won all.

It kind of sucks though since I was close to accomplishing some season records. Had 99 blocks needed one more!!
