Same EXACT thing that happened to me. I've already contacted 2k support with of course no answer. I am not starting all over again, having to customize another myplayer and all that crap. If I could take my current myplayer with his current stats and just start another mycareer, then I would but I haven't found any way to do that so for the 2nd year in a row, myplayer is unplayable.

This is the first year I've had any real problems with MyCareer/MyPlayer. There was the duplicate glitch in 2k10 or 2k11(I forget which), but that didn't really bother me. This year, between the schedule glitch, the freezing and still no word of a patch, I'm really considering trading in 2K early.

Just dropped 36 points on the Pelicans and I'm pleased with how the game went but good god I can't even hit an open mid-range J!! Is it my shooting form or do I just need to pump more VC into it? I understand it won't be perfect as it's only at 70, but surely the open ones should go down?

are you right handed shooting from the left hand side?? the only reason I ask is bro if i had a shot chart from the left hand side I am terrible - from the right hand side i'm money - its the strangest thing - i don't even want to set up over there anymore- other than that - it can be a timing thing at times - it may be a hot cold thing at times, 70 is good enough for an 18ft jumper - try warming up with some layups first getting the confidence rolling then step out.

current gen 4th qt. up by 20 game froze - #heated!! - I wanted to skip to next key game, but that was 10 games away..so i just said i'll bite the bullet, i played the same game but i fouled out on purpose we lost of course son of a B----. but i was not going to replay that game all over again - I hate that freeze crap! if it happens in the 1st or 2nd qt. fine, not 5 minutes into the 4th cmon!!!

If you are PG he--- yes LOL - i tried it from the 2 spot its a little weird - because 1 there are so many other things i need equipped and i usually only bring up the ball during press coverage or end of the game - but if your a PG make it a priority bro

I thought this was pretty cool - so me and the Jazz at this point are 19-19 - i'm not maxed out I don't want to be - i'm a hell of a scorer but as a 2 guard I won't max out things like rebounding - but anyway i'm about to play a game against the spurs so i go to the calendar to see if we are home or away, because I honestly forgot i hit play game and all of a sudden

GM Meeting pops up - I'm like WTH!!! - oh shoot i've been traded lmao!!!

but it starts out with me talking about the direction we are going and I think we are doing a good job - then the GM goes, so I'm looking to acquire some more talent do you have any suggestions?

Chauncey Billups - because we can use a backup PG behind Burke

Danny Granger - I love Gordon Hayward, but the dude doesn't play D and is scared to shoot, hope we keep him but I need someone willing to help he avgs 6 a game and i make an effort to give him the ball

Luis Scola - I love Favors and the ealier season trade of Andray Blatch, but besides those 2 guys Enes Kantor is still iffy. Hopefully we can get a real scorer for the bench

Harrison Barnes - Only because he is young and I think he can be down with us long term

I forgot my 5th guy LOL - Most of the dudes i suggested was to help the bench out - so hopefully none of the starters get traded

Then the GM goes ok well you know in order to get the talent, we may have to give up something (kind of scared me there) - but lets see - but i thought that was cool how they just took it upon themselves to call me in and ask for suggestions....I know earlier when i asked for blatch and others, he made the blatch deal that dude took off with us I love him now LOL!!!

I love the my career, but the drag of building up your character is terrible. Also, I was drafted by the Sixers... but they still have Noel and Carter-Williams. Sixers must have made a deal with Stern to get two number 11 picks in the first round lol.

I've had my share of frustration with this game mode, but this last game against the Bulls takes the cake. I was so mad I actually laughed lol. Ok, so I'm playing the Bulls and we're getting steamrolled, down by 18 in the 1st freaking quarter so I quit the game (didn't save the game, just quit). So I go back to the main menu and notice an 'L' for that game even though I didn't simulate that game. Red flag. Basically it's pre-determined that I'm going to lose this game. So I play the game, and its a pretty close game, back and forth. We build a decent lead in the 3rd quarter and I'm thinking "OK maybe we can pull this off." Then came the 4th quarter comeback cheese. Joakim Noah making contested fall away jumpers from 18 feet. Again, JOAKIM NOAH making contested fall away jumpers from 18 feet. Wow. Me and my teammates turning the ball over, missing layups, the usual. We get down to crunch time and we're down 1. I have the ball at the top of the key and call an iso for myself. I get to the paint and score with 1.9 seconds left. They call timeout and move the ball to the halfcourt line. I already know they're going to Rose, so I crowd him and deny the ball (they should have been called for a 5 sec. violation). He eventually gets open enough to receive the pass; 35-40 feet away from the basket. I get in his face and challenge the shot and guess what: nothing but net from almost freaking halfcourt. Unbelievable. I hate when they script the outcome of the game

I had a feeling there was f**kery afoot with some of the straight BS I encountered playing this mode, but wasn't sure if it was just me. The worst of it was two days ago, a game where I fought tooth and nail against missed FTs by Paul George, missed freebies near the basket by West & Hibbert, errant passes to wide open teammates, and ridiculous shots being hit by the AI.

My Pacers were down 1 with around 10 seconds left in the game, with possession on the inbound. The AI must have had a brainfart, because I managed to lose my defender completely and receive the pass. With the opposing team completely focused on my teammates, I had a wide open lane in front of me. Naturally, I held down turbo and went straight to the hoop for the uncontested layup.

The ball goes softly off the backboard, travels along the left side of the bucket toward the front rim and starts to fall into the net before somehow spinning its way back up and out from the left rim.



I was about ready to smash my controller on the floor. AI wound up winning by 3. The simple act of sharing this experience - this blatant crime against physics, this injustice - has me salty as hell.

And yet, despite all the shenanigans (and the repeated cutscenes that YOU CAN'T SKIP?!), I continue to play this. It's a beautiful game when you're executing plays you've seen in real life games to a T, but it's incredibly frustrating when the game arbitrarily decides to ruin your night.

Does anybody have problems with 0% team chemistry? I ve read many topics and threads around the forums and some talk about defense - almost always I got Good shoot defense , other talk about screen and assist teammates , I do it ALL THE TIME, and I see team chemistry stacked in 0% for 2 entire seasons!!!! All players are unhappy except me. I have a SF in the Celtics and my second year I 'm the best scorer of the league with 48% FG 8.2 Rebounds 4.2 Assists. I think that most probably is a bug of 2k when you play in Hall of Fame difficulty and if this is true this year My Career's really frustrating!

Just lost in the 6th game of the finals, now I am 2-3 down. I had 26 points after 3rd quarter with 50% shooting and a B grade, yet the coach sat me down for the entire 4th quarter. Of course we lost, usually I need to post something like 40 for us to win. This was the first time something like that happened, does it happen a lot? I am a star in my team, the best scorer in playoffs with 30 ppg, 10 apg. The only reason I can find the computer might pick up is a lot of lost balls as a result of unsuccesful stealing attempts (but not turnovers), which usually ends up with the ball going out of bounds. That sucks too btw.

While I am at it: I created a pass first pg, played that through the season in front of lillard with 12apg, then come the playoffs and I end up being forced to play a sg, no idea how to change that. There is no such discussion at the gm office...

Getting the game this week and plan on playing My Career mode. Is it true that you still can't select the new alternate uniforms in this mode?

As far as I know, you can't choose any uniforms. You get the defaults for home and away. Kind of lame...
