Re: Even on Next Gen, 2K still can't get accessories right.
I don't care about accessories, but I respect those who do. I don't think they are asking for too much. Modders are doing it strictly for the love of the game. That's not something you can fake. The community will always care for the game better than 2k/vc.Last edited by boltokPwnage04; 10-02-2013, 07:46 AM.Comment

Re: Even on Next Gen, 2K still can't get accessories right.
Obviously 2K doesn't, and neither do most casual fans like you. But people who actually watch the NBA closely notice things that 2K constantly gets wrong, like bad animations, wrong colored uniforms for Bulls, Knicks, and Warriors, and wrong colored socks/shoe combinations.
Hex editors used to get them right, but it looks like 2K shut them down too. Imagine if 2K had Melo with no headband, no arm sleeves, and no calf sleeves, wearing generic shoes. It would look ridiculous. Well that's how it is for tons of other players and uniforms. It might not matter to you, but it does to people who notice and appreciate the details.Last edited by Melbournelad; 10-02-2013, 08:07 AM.Comment

Honestly, some ppl do care. Honestly I feel like some of you mufs that comment on here are wanting cosigners to bad with these comments.
We all know its a SMALL problem but its still a problem. If colors and accessories were corrected you wouldnt have a problem b/c it would be considered an enhancement to the visuals of the game(if not sumting is wrong witchu brotha)
I dont understand why some try to shoot down someone for trying to help the same game you play b/c it doesnt matter to YOU but then comment on a thread like "should I trade carmelo to the spurs" or some shxx lol smh, CRAZY.
If you dont care cool, those who do, honestly give a duck if you dont so who cares what you think tho LOL come on fam dont be ridiculousComment

You can definitely argue that accessories are a minor detail, but small but subtle changes like that make a world of difference visually and make your experience that much more real. For those like myself who crave the realism factor, accessories go a long way. I'm not a stickler to the point of being unreasonable, however I was pretty disappointed to see they didn't incorporate the long leg sleeves that cut off near the ankle. A lot of players wear them and 3/5 of my hometown Raptor's starting lineup wear them too. Little things like that go a long way. Too bad Bron doesn't wear them on a regular basis or they would've undoubtedly made the game. I do appreciate the I Promise wristbands though.Comment

Not making fun of you, but I just love how much your opinion (which I agree with) belies your username.Comment

They don't care to get it right. Because 99% of there userbase will never notice the difference. And its time best spent fixing more noticeable issues.
Which goes back to the whole "Honestly, who cares?" statement. The answer, not enough people for this to ever get fixed.

For the record as Beluba has already mentioned, that trailer is from an earlier build of the game. For all we know it's been fixed already.
I do hope that it has though, cause it's one of the things that's always annoyed the hell out of me with 2K. It's not a hard thing to notice when you're watching games and yet every year it's an issue.#LFC

From what I saw the accessories in terms of home and away colors seem to be in. LeBron had the home white sleeve and the away black. The Buzz is Back in the Queen City. Cho........I have no idea what you are going to do in this draft man.Comment

Lazy? You mean an art department that has cyber faces, shot animations, dribble animations, free throw animations, tattoos, hair styles, sneakers ect for damn near every player in the NBA is lazy because they forget to change the color of socks. Really? Lazy?Comment

I think a better word to describe this situation is ignorance. Obviously they're not lazy, but they do overlook these things constantly.Comment
