LeBron went to the Bobcats. I'm sorry, but I feel like the devs should have written code specifically to prevent this from ever happening. Like what the ****, the BOBCATS?

So, I still don't see the problem
Kobe has said he will retire a Laker, so the chances of him going elsewhere is slim to none.
I honestly dont know why people dont use 30 team control if they want realistic trades. You can do as much or as little as you want to with all the teams you dont want to control.
Its a computer so the devs will never be able to get this right to satisfy all parties, but they do give us 30 team control to keep it realistic, but for some reason people balk at the idea of using it.

Just because Kobe said he wants to retire a Laker, doesn't mean the team will allow him to fulfill that opportunity..

I guarantee if Kobe doesn't retire after this season the Lakers will let him walk.

I understand why you think they'll let him walk, but there will be more than basketball ramifications if that happens. Much of the fanbase will be enraged at the front office.

I've been a Laker fan my entire 25 years of existence on this earth, and I'm already enraged at he front office.

Them letting Kobe walk ( my favorite player of all time) would just be fueling the fire of anger I have toward that front office right now.

That's why when I see it in the game, it doesn't surprise me, because I can definitely see it happening in real life.

But then sometimes in 2K I see them give him a 2 year contract extension, and I have hope ..

I wouldnt bet on that if I were you:wink: Maybe Kobe has changed his mind since last yr, but I remember him saying when his contract was up he was retiring, but maybe that changed since he got injured. JMO but I think in time Jim Buss will wise up and fire that fool D'Antoni and Phil Jackson will be back, and Kobe wont go anywhere or decide to retire.

Just as before then. In 2K13 Chris Paul used to either join the Cavs or the Pistons for me. And whenever he went to the Cavs they used Irving as the sixth man.
