I've never had a problem w/ 2K11's shooting. Maybe it was a lot tougher to hit open 3's from the top of the arc, but overall it was pretty balanced to me.

Yeah I should have been more specific....just with 3s. Mid ranged shots were cash wide open with a green release....unlike this game

I thought that the best mechanic for this type of conversation was the L2 bank shot capabilities of a few years back.

Manually forcing a bank shot on mid-range jumpers was a realistic way to boost mid-range effectiveness.

A player like Tim Duncan was actually able to play like his realistic counter-part because the added bonus for a bank shot.

That's just my .02 tho.

Play online and you will hit almost every three you toss up

Shot feed back seems to be broken again this year. They will probably fix it in the patch. That's if we get a patch for current gen.

Yeah man my 8' 6 sf cant hit 3s either. Maxed 3s at 99, shot off dribble 99, custom hotzones etc...

I run around shooting leaner 3s off the dribble and get perfect release everytime. Why in the world don't they go in?

I just want to see an A+ shots go in at a higher rate than my slightly late/early or my very late/early shots. Most of my C rated shots go in very often. If I wanted to miss or make shots depending on my player's stats then I would go to options and select real field goal percentage. It's not like there is a lot of A+ shots I get to shoot. I would rather make the majority of the one's that are taken.

i've seen it happen consistently too much, and i've seen people hit shots with two defenders on them more than i seen wide open makes. The game is broken if you have a better chance at hitting a shot with a defender than without one. glad i didn't drop the 60 for this.

The problem with this game is the amount of wide open shots vs percentage of the shots made

In real life, nba players dont get a wide open shot as often as users do in nba 2k14. Team defenses do not sag like ur rondo the way the cpu does in 2k14

I dislike the aspect artificially lowering the shooting percentages when in fact ur getting such ridiculous amount of open shots. In real life, shooters when treated as rondo will have no problem shooting 55+ percent from 3s
