I should have known this was all about Crew all along. I wish I could go back in time and Terminator that ****ing mode. I'm so sick of hearing about ****ing Crew mode.

"Wahhhh! I can't take my 99 overall 8 foot tall point guard online and ball hog and bull rush my way to 457 dunks in a game! 2K is a terrible game and they don't listen to fans. Lazy *******s!"

Kinda saw that coming as soon as he mentioned crew........personally I hope 2k keeps the current crews format.

I'm enjoying crews with my friends and none of us really care about anything else but having fun.

Last thing I would call 2k is lazy and one thing I know they do alot of is listen.

2K is a like a 12 year old child. His mother tells him to do the dishes, clean up his room, take out the trash. Of course, the kid is listening but that doesn't mean he'll end up doing those tasks.

Yes I am sure Chris knows they are lazy because while he was at "HQ", he saw a developer sleeping at his desk while a pile of documents that said "important NBA 2k work" was piled up...

I'm glad that the attitude on this forum has finally changed and that players like Smoove whose vids are viewed by a couple of 100k is saying what it's really like and what is wrong with the game.

We need someone like that to point out the mistakes, don't underestimate how important someone like Smoove can be. We can whine all we want on this forums but 2K, even though they might 'listen', tends to ignore important contributions.


Smoove has been in contact with 2K, has visited them, I hope he still gives them feedback and 2K puts them to good use.

The only thing 'stupid' is name calling....I don't care how many times Smoove or anyone else has visited 2k....until he reports he has been there for an entire dev cycle, he has no grounds to call anyone lazy. I am a Smoove fan quite honestly, but that vid he posted is beneath him...his valid points are covered up by taking the toddler route...

If this is what the 'attitude' of this forum is supposedly shifting to, prepare to be "ignored" even harder than you were before...the developers are not our butlers...trying to discredit them in every post isn't doing the game or community any good...

As I said, of you feel betrayed by 2k....ht them where it hurts and don't buy the product...there's an alternative coming soon you can try...otherwise let's try some constructive feedback...

I got issues with 14 too but for you and others to act like 2k did absolutely nothing in regards to people's complaints is laughable man. They fixed blocking, passing, tried to give crew fans something, better spacing, made defense matter again. To me that doesn't sound like they didn't TRY to fix all of people's issues. Whether they did is up to individual interpretation.

If making a game that is perfect and that no one has issues with is easy maybe u, smoove, and a collection of your own handpicked collection of 12 year-olds can get together and make your own NBA game with accurate scans and rosters, crew mode to your liking, association mode with zero issues, etc and you got 9 months. Good luck JM

Like I said, I'm happy that people finally opened their mouths and took off their rose colored glasses.

2K has been slacking, they needed a kick in their ... . I truly hope the next gen version will be perfect and the thing we've been asking for, for all these years.

2K already ignored their own forum. I don't think they will ignore OS.

I love reading/watching/hearing Da_Czar talk, because I fully agree with him. That's that.


Then on to Smoove, he has almost 1.2 million (Da Czar has 6000) subscribers. That's a lot of people who hear him pointing out flaws about 2K that they won't fix/improve/... You do realize he has a big impact on potential buyers/gamers/anyone interested in the game.

Or are you going to deny that?

The Association and MyPlayer mode (2 of the most played modes) hasn't been changed in all these years. Tell me what they worked on exactly?

Yeah they improved certain issues, but a lot of bugs remained, the modes remained untouched.

Meh. I'm one of the 1.2 million, I don't watch over and over again. Just once in a while, views are more like 100K, still a lot, but sub # doesn't equal much IMO.

Last Chris Smoove vid I watched he dissed Jack Twyman (Twymans number is retired for the Kings but Smoove wears #27 in myCareer) and he basically said he was a "meh" player. And only a few viewers noticed that.

He became known for his Myplayer and COD videos. I liked him a lot more to be honest a couple of years ago when he did 2K10/11. A lot has changed in the meanwhile.

For beginning players it can be helpful to get some tips, see how someone else plays the game, ...

Nah. He plays a variety of games now. He probably gained somewhere between....200,000 to 300,000 new subscribers doing playthroughs of Tomb Raider and GTAV.

His GTA V content was really good, and that's because he was actually really good at the game unlike the other playthroughs I watched.

I didn't say they fixed everything JMart (that's impossible imo)but I did get you to admit they fixed some things which is a positive step you've made.

I do not work on 2k staff J but you are acting like all they have to do is type the phrase "Fix all issues with NBA 2k" and press Enter and everything is fixed and the game is bug free and ready to ship man. A lot of work goes into trying to get at the root of some of these issues as fixing/altering one thing may break another part. You may need to talk to Beluba or someone else for an explanation..

You have the right to be disappointed in the product JMart and so does anyone else but to make it seem like they did nothing between titles to improve it or fix other's concerns is inaccurate. It's obvious that not everyone's expectations were reached. As I mentioned previously 2k's choice on what they decide to fix and who's advice they decide to act on are the tough choices they need to make on an annual basis.

What makes you think the Da_Czar doesn't have the same concerns as Smoove? Again he has direct contact with the devs and he can actually talk to them. You act as if Smoove got some power just because he has 1.2 million subscribers. If the complaints are out there I'm sure Da_Czar mentioned all the concerns to the devs.

People read IGN, Gamespot and all the other review sites more and if the number is 9.0 or above people will buy. Don't think Smoove got that much power.....
