Do Signature Skill Boosts Go Above Your My Player Max Cap?

Hey OS,

First time poster but looking for a quick answer on this. For example, if I equip the Signature Skill "Acrobat", which gives a layup boost, if your My Player's layup rating is capped, will equipping this Signature Skill provide a boost above the max cap?

Or will it be pointless to add it if you already maxed that attribute for your My Player?

This is referring for use in Crews, Pick Up and My Career game play.

No they don't. Say you're my player has a speed rating of 99. If you put one man fast break on him his speed will still be a 99.

All ratings have a max of 92 though

I understand if you leveled up to 99 but what if you are capped and are at 90 in a particular attribute, will a boosting sig skill provide a higher boost above your cap?
