NBA 2K14 Next Gen Trailer

I have wondered about all this myself. For example is the LeBron path to greatness mode featured in next gen? And if so are there any signigicant changes/upgrades? In regards to the improved player emotion and animation.....I would love if they did halftime interviews with star players (have it animate similar to LA Noir or the video game James next gen reveal trailer) as far as the audio for the interviews since not all NBA superstars would be able to record specific dialogue. What if they just used old archived audio interviews from specific players and used that? They could do it to where there was an interview at halftime just as a player is headed to the lockerroom and another interview after the game on court...same as an actual NBA broadcast. I'm also wondering how the pre game video intros are going to look on next gen with these graphics wow.

Thanks for understanding the post after reading it..anyway, the modes we see now are ok based on what we have, but imagine meeting with lebron ON THE COURT after a game with a " question asked " type thing like after the game on current gen...ON THE COURT DUDE!!!...that would be crazy man...and it's all after they talk about the Jordan brand player of the game, which will be the one getting interviewed...if you look at the questions asked after the game on current gen, they can easily be asked on the court dude...think of how crazy that would be....the teammate rating, fan support, fan, and that stuff would make sense because it's like they are talking on live tv...the possibilities are ENDLESS

From what I've read I thought 2K said that they split their team in to two and they were starting from scratch.

Really dude???i had no idea on that man...we'll starting from scratch is great considering they would have a lot of wiggle room to work with

This is what was said. Does not mean rebuilt from the ground up. They don't have enough time and people to do that AND still ship 2k13 and 14. It takes a couple of years to build a game from scratch.

That means a lot of the goodies from current-gen are not it, hope that next-gen is not just a pretty face.

There seems to be a lot of confusion.

Everything from current gen with exception to the LeBron mode which was exclusive to CG is in Next Gen.

Next Gen will also have more.

It's not just a pretty face. At least this is the news being spread by 2K.

yeah i think and HOPE there is more then just graphics to make us drool here. I was playing current gen yesterday and i was still amazed at how different that game plays over 2k13. Man the anticipation is killing me dude. Knowing the gameplay of 2k and in those graphics man, that's like meeting and INSANELY hot woman that wants sex with no commitment. The best of both worlds!!!
