It's more about playing any game I want than controlling every team. I like to play other teams games quite a bit, it is a good way to change things up.

I'm very excited about this game, but I'll admit no multi-user option in myGM bites. My brother and I love to do fantasy drafts and then play through a season or two. It was one of my favorite things to do, and I won't lie that I was upset when I found this out. I was the same way about madden... That was a terrible time and I'm happy they fixed it for Madden 25. I still play a single person Association mode all the time, but regardless, it won't be the same not being able to do a draft my bro. I'm really hoping they put in some kind of patch midway through the year, although I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't. Other than that, game sounds amazing to me and I can't wait!

The GM mode sounds cool I just hope they didn't remove CPU vs CPU. If they didn't then I have no problems at all and this all sounds sweet.

I just hope I can still edit other players accessories in gm mode, and also play any game on the schedule I want even if its not my teams game and Ill be good with the new changes.

Not knocking the new features (which are great, BTW), but offline association has been a staple since 2Ks inception. I just don't see why it had to be discontinued.

Still getting the game though.

My problem isn't even the fact that I cant control the league. Its just that playing offline association with my roommates is really the only thing I/we do. And without multi-team theres really not a reason for me to get the game despite how amazing everything else looks/sounds.

Single player things don't appeal to me at all.

I feel you dude. You know what though - back in the day when we would play Madden in our dorm, we didn't need a franchise mode. We tracked stats and did all that stuff with this thing called a pencil and paper.

Seriously though - you can do that if it's that important to you. Otherwise, you may as well bail now because there doesn't seem to be any other news you'd be interested in in this thread. I'm still waiting for online news...

BTW, folks keeps saying they "took out" this or that feature. If this is a new engine/game, shouldn't you be saying "didn't port over" or "didn't add back in" said feature?

I don't know about anyone else, but I am so pumped for a new engine. Can't wait to hear from Aaron to see how different it feels to 2K now.

All I need to hear is that we can customize ROSTER files like RED MC within (or via PC from extracting the saves, hope we can get that) or no buy. I can't live without the ability to have high quality mods and accuracy if the rosters can't be modded/used outside Quick Play. (And if someone says, "USE PC!" Well, some of these roster makers in OS are super talent and spend a lot of time in detail, not saying PC users don't, it's just, OS has a lot of good simulation-playing read, in-depth rosters + modding console rosters is super enjoyable and I encourage people to create their own mods with it)

I'd like to know something more about customization options too, if some player/team sliders have been restricted, if team colors can be changed ingame, different shoes for home and away games...I guess it's something I won't know til the game drops.

Related to Red MC, I'd love it were compatible with xbox one for this year's game, but if I had to bet I'd say no.

Just let a friend of mine read the features list. He's not a sports fan AT ALL, he's never even touched a basketball game, let alone watched one. All he said to me was, "Wow man, these features make me want to become a basketball fan"

Madden 06 NEXT GEN caught CRAP for this. So should 2K.

The other details sound great though.
