Thats EXACTLY what I'm NOT saying...Unfortunately thats your own mis-interpretation...All I'm saying is there is a REAL NBA and there are real occurrences and situations that are universal in the NBA...For example If Kirk Heinrick brought the ball doown court...never passed and simply shot contested 3's from his hot spot 27 times the REAL LIFE NBA law of averages would be that he would not hhave consistent excess...Now maybe once or twice the stars and moon would align and he'd go 23-27 or hit even 39% but on the regular this WOULD almost NEVER happen or be effective much less be consistently effective.
These are occurances that are statistically based on the premise of probable outcomes of probable situations...Call it the law of averages or anything else BUT these are not my own set of situations and outcomes based on the way I play...They are solely based on probable percentages and situational NBA outcomes. Now hopefully I've articulated that in a manner where you can wipe from your mind that anything about sim is based on my individual interpretation of sim.
- I want the game to simply play as a sim ONLINE based on Probable NBA actions and PROBABLE outcomes.
- I want cheesers to enjoy free expression of their cheese
- I don't define cheese
- I don't define sim
If you can't comprehend what I've attempted to convey then lets just agree to disagree but your assumption that I have anointed myself the spokeperson for simulation and expect people to follow MY way of thinking and style of play could NOT be more inaccurate.
Finally, If you think 2K devs and their AI team are so limited that they can't tune AI and gameplay to recognize bad shot choices then I'd say we are in for some major disappointments moving into Next gen with this game. I have hope that they can remedy these issues...Hopefully.
