No worries man, i guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this haha. I will put in 2k11 followed by 2k13 when I get a chance to compare on the areas you mentioned (last time I played 2k11 i remember thinking it looked a step down graphically to 2k13).

Lol oddly enough I played 2k12 last night and was surprised how much better it looked to me since the last time I played it. Now 2k11 I haven't played in a couple of years so you could be right about that one.Comment

But if 2k12 was the best graphically, that seems like a strange choice by 2k. They make a significant leap in that department from 2k11 to 2k12, and then it declines slightly in 2k13 (but still better than 2k11).Comment

Haha and you are probably right about 2k12, that was the one 2k since 2k9 that I didn't really play as much so I can't comment there.

Re: NBA 2K14 Screenshot Comparison - Ben McLemore & Xavier Henry Current-Gen vs. Next
The later games improved in animation smoothness, especially off ball collision animations, and players had better likenesses overall (there were some bad 2k11 faces) but 2k11's rendering was much better.
2k12 was the worst graphically since 11. It was the game where they redid everything, and the new shaders made everyone look dipped in Vaseline. Momentum was also mostly removed from AI on ball defenders so it was a slidey mess. They tweaked it in 2k13 so it's much better, but still not as good as 2k11.Last edited by Sundown; 10-27-2013, 03:04 PM.Comment

I was playing 2k10 yesterday and players actually sweat and their jerseys got wet. No other game after 2k10 did that. So the details of the other games might not be as deep as in 2k10 or 2k11.
