@youngflo I would be surprised, even with a side by side comparison, of your 24" 720p tv next to one that's 24" 1080p that you would notice a difference, let alone one big enough to justify a new tv purchase...honestly, its the smooth 60fps that we all should be most excited about and we all get that no matter the tv...so, in conclusion, see for yourself,lol...

Considering all titanfall looks like is C.O.D. mixed with Halo, I understand,lol...its Gears of War 1 & 3 ill miss on next gen...its all about xbox live that keeps me hooked on M$...and the integration with my Windows 8...streaming is huge for me too, I watch way too many movies for free on my home theater streamed from xbox to give that up...lol...I'm pretty much a fanboy at this point, but I can't hate on the PS4...Both systems will be great...coke or Pepsi,really...lol...Comment

But then again, I guess I would be a fan of sony, but not faithfully. I'm more into their exclusives than I am sony at this point. I don't trust them either but I like infamous, I like last of us, and uncharted. Crap like that. If that was n the pc, I would be on the pc.
I don't like shooters really, unless its MGS or gta.
Still, I want to pick it up for the reasons you mentioned, the integration and For the most part, multiplat looks great on 360 over ps3, so I thought that trend would carry over. I was going to buy 360 for my multiplats and some xbox exclusivs and ps4 mostly being bought for exclusives. But who knows if that carry over. I saw the comparison on bf4 and I thought personally it loked better on the xbo#dairyfreeComment

And M$ is giving us a 4k hdmi cable just because?lol...I doubt we see 4k in first 2 years, but it can do it...probably why M$ added the specialized RAM...sorry, but the final upgraded stats of the XBone hardware not only beats the PS4 in a lot of categories, they've got a rich history of software development to back it...I'm not saying the xbone will blow away the PS4, but until Sony can show a stable online service that will run all the 1080p gaming going on...I don't believe them and their rumor filled anti M$ champaign...but its the secrecy on both sides this close to launch that's peaving me off,lol...like they don't realise $500 is a ton of money to have so little info...
4k gaming with any of these consoles is not going to happen. Maybe 4k video, but not gaming.
The GPU in the ps4 is 1.8 TF and the Xbox is 1.3 TF. Big difference.
Specialized ram in the Xbone? You mean how they added ESram to help out the ddr3 ram? Sony lucked out choosing gddr5 ram as it became cheap enough where they were able to add 8gb. Microsoft went with ddr3 which can be better for multimedia, app switching, etc. Purely for gaming, Gddr5 is what you want.
Developers are rumored to be having a hard time working with the ESram and will likely be a bottleneck for the entire life of the console.
The ps4 is simply more powerful and easier to develop for.
Having said that the xbox will have awesome games and I will eventually get an Xbone just not right away. But please stop with the false info.
You clearly like the Xbox, so talk about the games, controller, etc. instead of making stuff up.Comment

Re: NBA 2k14 1080p vs 720p Next Gen Console?
Just cus I was bored, for those who don't think I know what I'm talking about...this is a quote from WatchDoggs developer...
“There are quite a few, obviously there are the graphics but you don’t need me to tell you, but there’s also everything related to the dynamism of the city,” continued Guay. “For example, we’re able to simulate the water in full 3D, if you go on a boat the waves that form will affect other boats. We’re also able to spend more time giving brains to the other people on the streets so that they can basically be smarter, andthere can be more of them. It’s what I call dynamism; basically, the way the city reacts to you, we are able to push further on the Xbox One.”
Microsofts cloud alone is going to allow for a lot of processes to be handled in the cloud freeing up resources to allow more power for the games...it may take a little while for devs to fully utilize this, but when it happens, it will be a game changer in the console market and Sonys cloud isn't even a fraction of what M$ has done...titanfall developer:
" The Xbox group came back to us with a way for us to run all of these Titanfall dedicated servers and that lets us push games with more server CPU and higher bandwidth, which lets us have a bigger world, more physics, lots of AI, and potentially a lot more than that!"
I'm not just blown smoke,lol...would love to hear 2k dev opinion...

Re: NBA 2k14 1080p vs 720p Next Gen Console?
They already have streamed halo 4 to a low end Windows phone via the cloud...imagine what they could do with XBone...could be even smarter ever changing A.I., crowds, more animations...its up to the devs to utilize though...and these tech specs that people keep throwing out won't say that the small advantage the ps4 gpu has is made up by the faster CPU the xbone has...once again, they will perform almost identically hardware wise...Comment

Re: NBA 2k14 1080p vs 720p Next Gen Console?
Look, I love the 360 and have never owned a Sony console, but this is just completely wrong with all due respect.
4k gaming with any of these consoles is not going to happen. Maybe 4k video, but not gaming.

This happened with the current generation. Even though, theoretically, the PS3 is more powerful than the 360, the PS3 version of games often had small things cut from them because it was just too hard to work with.
It's interesting it's flipped this gen. Developing on the PS4 should, for all intents and purposes, be pretty much like developing on any other PC hardware. This doesn't mean the Xbone will be inferior; it just means we will probably see the full potential of the PS4 before we see the full potential of the Xbone.Comment

Re: NBA 2k14 1080p vs 720p Next Gen Console?
first off the biggest thing (which both consoles have) is the game will be running 60fps this will be the most significant change that you will see from CG.
second, 4k games...I doubt we will see many (if any). Just think if the download for NG 1080p game is 50-75GB a 4k game would be like 250-500gb at least.
also I am switching from 360 to ps4 for NG. I just feel like Sony is putting out a gamer focused console more so than Microsoft.Comment

Re: NBA 2k14 1080p vs 720p Next Gen Console?
To tell you the truth. Even after the dev said so, I'll be shocked if the Xbox One version is 1080p 60fps. MS screwed up the xbone so bad that it can't even run a engine that has been out for 8 years in 1080p being COD ghost. While the ps4 chews and spits out 15/16 of its launch games all in 1080p NATIVELY
Don't be surprised if the Xbox one version of NBA 2k14 is only 720p native.Comment

Re: NBA 2k14 1080p vs 720p Next Gen Console?
Current gen runs at 60 fps as well...your last point I agree with though, seems Sony is more focused than MS on making a games first platform.
I would be surprised to see the One version of 2K14 running at a native 1080p as well, after what's happening with these other multiplatform games. I guess we shall see soon enough.Comment
