What the hell? So how good how team ends up is going to be dictated on "levels" and "levelling up"? Why can't it juts be based on decisions?

While I'll definitely give the mode a shot before I condemn it, I'm more inclined to agree with Melbournelad on this.

This mode (from an outside perspective) has way too many RPG elements. The idea of leveling up or having to purchase attributes seems completely out of place for simulation nuts like myself.

But again, this is without actually playing it. It's entirely possible I have a great time with this mode. I just feel like that's less and less likely considering I haven't enjoyed MyPlayer over the years -- and this has a very "MyPlayer Mode on Steroids" feel to it.

I'm not liking the VC part either. However, CHOOPS was great and had RPG elements to it, but that was because you had to be at the highest ratings in order to compete with the other major conference schools, and the CPU had all the same tools the user had. I still have some hope it could be done right, but I'm very nervous about it.

They said they're releasing info but we keep getting these screenshots. Put the screenshots in the article.

Are you still going to be able to create a player and put him on a roster, I like to play with Pacers, I create a player with my name and play a season. Can you still do this or are you only playing as a GM?

I wanted to bump this thread because Im debating on buying this game from Gamestop for 40 bucks. I really am into GM type atmosphere's. Anybody out there give this a thumbs up or down?
