Have almost ZERO desire to play CG 2k14?

After all these feature reveals, man I don't want to go back. I want to play some NBA so bad, but how can I put effort and time into a game that I am going to trade in in 12-47 days? (If I decide to wait until X-Mas my girl said she will get it for me 100%, if I want it early, I will have to trade in my PS3 and only get 2k14)

At this point, I'll trade in a kidney for a PS4 and 2k14. Hahaha.

Anyone else having trouble going back to CG after today?

If I had the money to buy a PS4 then I would definitely be struggling to play NBA2k14 on CG. I doubt I will be able to buy a PS4 for atleast a yr, so Im stuck whether I like it or not.

No, to be honest I'm perfectly content with current gen 2k, the game is phenomenal for what it is, and still looks great to me. I can see the upgrade in visuals on next gen, but it's not enough to make me trade in current gen 2k or my ps3.

I can't lie, it got me hyped to go buy a ps4, when I first saw it, but my feeling has changed now. I'll go next gen next year. From what I've seen the gameplay is probably not gonna be much of an upgrade this year, so I'm not gonna rush it.

I've stopped playing CG 2K14. Like others, after I saw all that next gen had to offer, I can't go back and play it. I can't continue in my association knowing that in a couple weeks I'll be starting over on XBOX One. So my copy sits on the shelf collecting dust.

If the game is out and its a great game with great gameplay, then I may get it but even then, thats a big if...

I'm definitely a little cooled off of CG, but I don't plan on getting NG for a while so I'm just going to have to deal. I think once some good roster sets come out for CG it'll make the pain a little easier.

For sure I'm jealous of those with the means to grab NG when it comes out, though. One of these days ...

Yeah, my bad..I really meant to say that I think current gen has great gameplay as it is but of course some of the same issues still exist that have been there every year. I meant that the next gen's gameplay may be great but it will still probably play just like current gen....I confused myself with that one...

Unlike most I am completely happy with CG. The initial trailers looked great and I thought that it would be a wholly new game, but after seeing gameplay videos... not so much. The gameplay looks the same, and with mods (I'm a CPU guy) and it doesn't look any better than what is available. Sure it has new 'bells and whistles' but if they don't elevate the actual gameplay, then it'll all wear off quickly (anybody but me skip through much of the presentation and animations?). This, plus the fact that some early reviews suggest many CG 'problems' still exist on NG, makes me interested on what the OS posters' reviews will be a week from now.

I have made the choice to wait on next gen console purchase as well for the stated reasons: need to conserve $ right now and skeptical of a glitch free launch. Also i have a massive cg backlog. Destiny may be the killer game which gets me to plunge into ng.

As to cg 2k14, it and fifa are 2/3 of my entire christmas list.

The launch was yesterday and my boy put up pics of his PS4 & 2K14 NG on Instagram as soon as he received it. Once I saw that, I checked out vids on YouTube and I was sold. I also saw IGN's video review of 2K14 & immediately signed onto eBay and ordered everything(BRAND NEW PS4, 2K14 + an extra controller)!!! It was all overpriced but right now, money wasn't an issue. I'll have everything by Tuesday.

After waiting for all the next generation information to come down the pipe (post-release), I've actually kind of softened my stance on current gen, of all things. Suddenly, picking up NBA 2K14 at a reduced price at some point for the 360 seems pretty legit when considering I'll still be able to fill out classic rosters while saving locally (amongst other features still present in CG but removed in NG).

Only thing that would make me get a ps4 and NBA 2k14 right now Is if MyTeam was much better.
Without the VC glitch, now having to buy contracts every three games and packs even more expensive, it kinda kills me wanted to try My Team on next gen.
