One of the weirder errors I noticed from the 10/27 update was that free agent Justin Hamilton's generic CAP model has been switched out with a completely different player (I believe Dewayne Dedmon's old model?). Since Justin is currently playing in Spain, and probably won't be back in the league for awhile (if ever), I'm sure this mistake will just fly under the radar.

I was shocked by the number of cyberfaces that were updated over the course of this month, so it's a shame that this update falls short. Hopefully they can get back on track moving forward.

this last string of comments is why i'm done. i wanted a base roster to do some editing with. stupid me, started editing some stuff when I should have FIRST went through EACH roster and noticed all the goof/errors. I gave the game to our boys - I've deleted it from my hard drive. I'm done with 2K basketball. 5 updates later (I believe) and they plug one hole, only to create 2 more in its place. Have fun, guys...

Out of curiosity was he goofed up on the 10/22 update too or was that something new that you just noticed suddenly on the 10/27 update? I'm still trying to figure out what is really any different between the 10/22 update and the 10/27 update; it doesn't seem like anything really was changed at all.

I'm still trying to figure out what is really any different between the 10/22 update and the 10/27 update; it doesn't seem like anything really was changed at all.

I didn't notice until the 10/27 update when I happened to scroll through the free agents while I was manually updating the roster. I'm not sure if it appeared in the update before it.

The game always has problems in the first few months, they get fixed eventually, id say your lack of patience is going to be at fault here in the long fun.

They have showed more support in this game then 2k15, and that says something if anything, but well, your decision won't affect my liking of the game so i don't particularly care, just saying.

I just think most people are being impatient and not very understanding of the situation, especially since it has been like this tons of times before in the past.

We aren't top priority anymore, anything they can fix its an unexpected bonus, we bought the game knowing these things.

It seems you assume they do this intentionally, when in fact it could very well be tied to very complex programing issues, i mean unless your a programming expert and can guarantee to us that 2k doesn't care and their doing this to piss us off, then cheers to you, but thats unlikely.

That being said, i think this is a childish conclusion to an already mediocre situation in terms of expectations.

And a childish conclusion to a better than expected situation in terms of actual support towards the game happening.

The average in terms of roster updates are 2-4days, thats very reasonable considering we don't know how complex such issues might be.

I agree with you on that. I'm not going to knock anyone; but it seems silly giving up on the 2k Basketball series completely just because of 1 roster update being botched. Simple solution is to temporarily use the 10/27 update instead; that's what I'm going to do - at least until a new update comes out and fixes the errors on the 10/30 update. Or you could always play the older 2K games ; I know you were into 2K11 alot.

Indeed, so are opinions, but the thing is there are usually 2 types of opinions, ones who complain about little things and are usually more on the negative side and close minded, and ones that are more grateful and open minded, and just appreciate what we can have and what has been improved.

Look at the things you are complaining about, things that in the old age of gaming, didn't even exist, things that in old 2ks, were even worse!!.

You make it seem like these little things overshadow all the great changes there have been to the game compared to 2k15.

I respect you as a person, like i would anyone, i just don't respect your close minded behaviour on the topic at hand, my opinion has more facts to it than your opinion and i will touch on that below, that being said the people that agree with me are being positive and open minded all over the forum of nba 2k last gen, you and so many others are caring more about the superficial than important things that should be on the top of the list to fix, and i just see that as more satisfying your own issues and opinions about the game, than the general public.

Metta looks totally fine to me FOR A LAST GEN GAME, he had a cyberface before this update, and for whatever >technical reason< that 2k clearly won't intend, he is now create a player.

Do you seriously think ill outrage because of such a thing that will probably get fixed? he will get it back, eventually everyone 2k deems important will be fixed, and thats that.

Nba 2k next gen has problems too, and thats their main focus, you are being impatient over a last gen game when the game released what? a month ago? it released officially september 29...

2k every year takes some months to completely be stable...

You are giving up on it and blaming 2k already even though the following 3 important things are to be taken into consideration

1. Barely any time has passed.
2. We are not top priority
3. Last year support was even worse.

So tell me, with the current things i mentioned at hand, is an opinion even valid?... id just say the problem is with your impatience buddy, this is not a serious issue, so am not mad at you or something, that would be childish, i don't intend to put you down or make you look bad, if anyone takes it as such well they would be wrong and jumping to conclusions.

Am just saying given the things i have mentioned, impatience is more obvious to be a problem right now than 2ks efforts.

If the problems go on for months (which they have in the past, but eventually have been fixed(somewhat) then we can complain and your opinion will be understandable, but to me its not yet even close to a conclusion yet, to me the opposite.

I mean its just the start of the year?.. we aren't even mid season.... nor close to it..

i am sorry maybe u can find some 2k15 or 2k14 sho503 is outstading but only on ps3

i am thinking about breaking down and get a ps4 contally is easier for me haveing CP

if u have 2k15 or 14 on x360 i can look for u some 2k rosters that maybe u can port

Totally agree! i think this game will turn out to be one of the best once everything is fixed, i already think is right up there in terms of best 2ks ever, especially gameplay wise.

And yeah I agree we are lucky we even got a last gen version. Completely unrelated but Mortal Kombat last gen version ended up getting canceled and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is on the verge of possibly being canceled for PS3/360 as well; it's been pushed back.

This is likely to be the last NBA and WWE game for PS3/360 and they are going out with a bang in my opinion especially compared to last year's installments both games are a huge improvement. (I don't have WWE 2K16 yet though but from what I've seen it looks good for PS3)

I agree, we should definitely form an OS PS3 crew. I'm against cheese, and try to play sim for the most part. I don't play online too too much because nobody knows how to play like a damn normal person but I'm looking forward to playing with or against some of you.

Unfortunately that might not be until December because I don't really have internet access right now, well I do obviously because I'm going on this site but I mean on my PS3 I don't. I'm using some kind of free xfinity wifi hotspot and it doesn't work on my PS3 for some reason. I tried it a few months back and it basically goofed up my whole PS3; I had to go into safemode and factory reset my whole system. Going to hopefully get all this straightened out sometime after Thanksgiving when I can get my own internet. I've been going up a friend's house once a week to play with them and use their internet to get the roster updates. I'm not even going to bother with MYCareer until I'm back in business since you need the internet to earn vc.
