GameSpot are EA fanboys and this is why they scored it a lower score. EA probably payed them off

they usually score sega games higher than EA games. nfl 2k1, 2k2 and 2k3 all scored higher than madden and nba 2kX is usually scored better than live so i dont think their being biased.

2K2 is more fun than 2K3, hands down. I love 2K2 and will continue to play it. The presentation in 2K3 is much improved but the gameplay changes they made this year have me baffled.

Actually, NBA 2K3 on X-box got a better review than Live 2003 on the box. 8.5 for 2K3 vs. 8.2 for Live 2003

A little bit higher score doesn't mean anything. These two games are both wonderful with a lot of fun. It's just personal preference.

Live got the higher rating because it made the most improvement on an otherwise horrible game last year. 2K3 simply improved on what was already a great game!
