Glad I found this thread. Its been at least 24 hours now. I tried to play last night at about 6, here it is 8 the next night, no servers still.

Edit: This is only the OA mode, I played a full online game no problem just now to test it.

Servers and the general post-release updates and company service is as bad as it's been for years for 2k with nba 2k14.

I just can't grasp how a game that could not possibly be as taxing as any MMORPG, FPS, or really any other genre that's largely multiplayer can have so many problems, and what makes it so frustrating is you can't even play single player this way.

It's 12:40 Central here and I can see my VC but when I try to do something, it says "Servers are down for maintenance"


This is absurd. Either offer an online game or don't. 2K is ridiculous.

The 2k servers acting up. On next-gen we'll have it continued for sure.

OA's messed up, online messed up. Both could be EA's Libe 2014 turning points.

I'm getting those messages but I still can play online - I'm about to start a quick match right now.

On PS3, it says 32520 people are also online.
