    Re: sig shot edit suggestions

None of those shots are Ray Allen. Flick is ugly as hell and holds the elbow out way to far. Ray Allen's elbow is NEVER out of line on his shot. Roberts doesn't work either. That shot is a slingshot rainbow with lil to no elevation. It looks like he is throwing the ball in the air instead of shooting. Ray get great elevation on his shot and doesn't shoot rainbows. I won't even comment on the Lee suggestion cause that is just horrible. Arms falling all over the place pushing the ball. It's just ugly.

Ray's shot doesn't need to change. The animation is spot on. Ray has tons of wrist action on his shot. The only problem with his shot is the perfect release point they have it on the game. It needs to be quicker. If they spped up his animation it would be perfect. But those shot are a slap in the face of Ray Allen. He has the prettiestshot in the history of the game and the form and technique is damn near perfect. None of those shots are that.

Yeah it WOULD BE great if it was quicker, but the point is that its not quicker, its crazy slow. The wrist action you are talking about is not even visible during gameplay, since the game isnt played in super zoomed slow mo.

Gameplay is not like the preview screen or watching zoomed in replys in slow motion, where you notice every little flaw. The major things stand out in peoples minds are obvious stuff i.e. shooting form IF it has major obvious characteristics, speed, lift.

But i def get you bro. Especailly for things of your team of use, Its like me with Rashard Lewis i always end up just leaving him as is (or give him Pike).

I feel you but you can see the wrist action in gameplay with Ray's sig shot. You don't see it with the other ones. I release it slightly early with Ray when playing with him and it looks perfect. With his high shooting ratings it doesn't have to be a perfect release to go in anyway. The only time I hold it like 2K has it set now is when he is wide open. I just hope they change/speed up the release for next year and not just give him some default shot or somebody else's. They got his free throws perfect. Lets hope they make the slight adjustment to his shot.

The only thing thats perfect about rays default shot is the flick of the wrist. Everything else is off. The way he bends his knees too much, the way his head and whole body seem tilted back, and even the way he lands, plus its way too slow. Watch Ray off a catch and shoot. He pops up so fast, barely bending his knees, and flicks that wrist. With the roberts shot you get that speed and the feeling that the shot can come out of nowhere. Its not perfect, the wrist flick isnt quite there, and his left arm is a bit off, but you get the incredibly fast release, and the barely bent knees. I dont know about the whole rainbow thing, i havent noticed that. Lee is way off though, I actually gave that to Ginobili...

Can we get one for Jamal Crawford? He doesn't kick his legs in real life like he does in the game and he has a more fluid motion in real life. Also, if you change his shot, does he lose his signature layups?

The shot he has is the best one on the game for him. No if you change it it doesn't lose anything. His layup is apart of his own layup package.

                  Garcia's ?

Maybe not the best one but still better than "Flick" shot. +++

Garcia for Bibby is pretty good. Personally I went with Kapono which I think is essentially the same shot. I used Garcia for Baron Davis which is the exact same animation as his default but a much quicker release.

                      Ture.

My first choice was Baron Davis shot too, then i choosed Garcia's, which is quicker.

Baron's shot has more lift on it too. He jumps on that shot. Garcia's barely leaves the ground.

I don't like Kapono for Bibby at all though. They aren't the same shot. Kapono's shot is more of a puch with no follow thru. Garcia's shot has good follow thru and more form to it.

                          DeMarcus Nelson: FT Bend Down
                          Antonio McDyess: FT Ginobili
