according to ron on twitter, the first roster update was buggy and the next one should really improve a lot of attributes and tendencies. not sure about sig styles but hopefully that's fixed too. if all of this is true, nogster, would you be editing rosters again sometime? maybe post patch?

I think that is what he is fixing with his rosters (ratings and tendencies). From last year, if I remember correctly he only re-did the rosters completely (from the new updated versions) when they added significant sig styles.

That is just my thinking, I am sure that he will answer. BTW, not trying to be a jerk and answer, just adding my two cents to the discussion.

I was wondering if they are going to be adding new sigs as often as they did last year. I haven't read anything about it, though.

The 2K Patch isn't going to be out for a while (early November), so it looks like I'll have to wait until THEN to start my association.

no that's cool but the problem with the sigs. is that they're are still messed up even when you edit and you have to change up positions etc. like with Josh Smith...I think. at least the displays are messed up and this is annoying. also, i don't think they are adding sig. styles this year but i know they are working on both the tendency issue and what i mentioned above.


- Fixed an issue where the user was unable to give certain players their player-specific animation packages.

so if this is the case, i think a significant roster will come out soon or with the patch. this might make it worthwhile (although frustrating) to re-do the roster? who knows. either way, i'm definitely happy with any roster nogster puts out.

The Nogster roster post patch should still be the bomb...you can always go in and edit players in the roster....kind of like using the Nog Roster as an advanced base roster

correct drew. Just think of my roster as how it shouldve been out of the box. Then you users can go from there and tinker to your liking.

Because simballer didn't mention anything about fixing stat bugs, I'll assume Nogster's rosters nip those in the bud.

The patch will fix the bugs, but I actually am fine with gameplay as is. Ive got my sliders right, tendencies are really helping.

I might start my association (with Nogster's rosters), and just DL the patch when it comes out.
