    Re: Nogster's Roster 2.0 for 360 *RELEASED*

I downloaded these for a quick look.

    Tyreke Evans = 68 overall while D.J. Augustin = 72?

Josh Smith = 79 overall while LaMarcus Aldridge = 79?

Monta Ellis = PG? Josh Howard = SG? Rasheed Wallace = PF?

    Paul Millsap = 78 while Carl Landry = 70?

what ive had to update comprehensively are the rotations. they were pretty off in regards to player minutes. some players were set at 45mpg etc...

Additionally, you know, it always seems the biggest critique of my rosters is that I don't edit tendencies, but going by this it seems more like I just don't promote it.

        Johnson: -6 Shot
        Bibby: -6 Shot
Smith: -7 Shot (no change to 3pt?)
        Crawford -2 Shot
        Williams: -1 Shot
        Horford: +4 Shot

Is there something I'm missing here?

I guess that explains it, I mean, the player positions are really, really bad. Like Nate Robinson listed as SG (not PG/SG).

yeah this was based off of nogster's initial roster so everything we're seeing this season with breakout players etc. won't be in the roster until nogster edits it. we basically did this to get an updated roster with dynamic attendance, accessories, the best CAPs and so forth. then nogster wouldn't have to take a lot of time updating the set but could focus on making the changes according to everything going on today.

so yeah, like nogster said, these are old. all the edits were what he had in his 11/17 roster so tyreke, landry, and guys like that will definitely be off. check out his updated roster that will be out and it should be more on point with the current nba trends.

oh yeah, that's why i included the spreadsheet i used when i was actually applying everything to the roster. like i have in the initial post, you'll see that everything in red that i marked was questionable and had to be looked at. i knew i would personally probably change those things regardless of what nogster had. it was a way to alert people of things that are more than likely off. positions were definitely a big source of this so you'll see a lot of red (ex. the heat)

also, while you're around here, what's your take on attack / pass out tendencies rashidi? i think mikej's roster had your tendencies but maybe not. if so, i did see a lot of skewed attack / pass out not adding up to 100 and a lot of pass out. so you see this as a problem? it's like the game has players passing out of drives hard coded and it happens way too much.

probably what was set in the roster that this was translated to. if not it was an oversight.

I'm wondering cause based on all the player & team edits, I want a slider set that will work best w/ this roster & not negitively affect gameplay & sim stats.

old roster. over a month old.

josh smith has got his act together this season. only taking shots that are within his abilities and attacking the hoop instead of launching ill advised J's. along with being healthy and showcasing his superior athletic abilities.
aldridge is the better offensive player, better in the post, better shot etc.. so your point is?.
milsap and landry. okay again. an old roster. landry will be improved obviously. and milsap has dropped off. but lets look at it logically.
last season boozer was out for half the season. giving milsap a big time role and he showed he can produce. this season landry is doing the same. i wonder how he would produce with a healthy ming in the lineup? alternatively. i wonder how milsap would produce in houston this season? and i wonder what you had these 2 players rated at a month and a half ago?

monta ellis a pg? again old roster when monta was the starting pg. you of all people should know what happens to rotations when positions are not adjusted.
howard a sg? well wasnt he projected to be starting sg? and once he is healthy. isnt that where he will be starting? again. you of all people should know what you must do to positions in order to get the rotations correct. i want terry as 6th man. simple.

evans? old roster. no one expected evans to be a stud like he is. martins injury is a definate help here but still. and augustin? well wasnt he projected to be a possible breakout candidate? i wonder what you had him ranked at the start of the season? now that his defensive deficiencies have him in browns doghouse, and thus all his confidence out the window, he will be adjusted accordingly in the update.

ive never claimed that my rosters are the definative version. and like yours, the insiders and anyone elses, they are subjective.

the roster update should be up in the next few hours,[ time willing]

Heads up guys a couple of contracts were off...Pau Gasol's extention wasn't in and Jonathan Bender's contract is something like a 3yr/10mil in the game when it should be a one year (not sure what the amount is though).
