I used this roster and updated and released it under my gametag. For details, check my "nogsters nba2k10" threads 1st page. Note: the roster posted on the 1st page of this thread is now outdated. The ratings/tendencies etc are a good month old.

Anyone want to post what secondary positions need to be edited/added? Sounds like they didn't get translated from Nogster's info.

There seems to be some confusion. The roster mentioned in the 1st post in this thread is not the one i updated. Sambf. U should edit the 1st post. And say its my "new year" roster with my gamertag "nogman7". That is the updated one. Evans will not avg 8ppg in that one. Etc etc.

sorry for the confusion everyone. i did update it a little while back and it refers to your thread but it wasn't too visible. it should be better now though.

also regarding secondary positions, the base roster that we used had some different positions than nogster's roster so some will be off. i would change them up when you come across them. i changed a lot of them back to what nogster had in his set though. some just didn't have a secondary position.

I would say it like this. Rashidi's player ratings are more true to life than Nogster's as he spends tons of time working on them, but Nogster's rosters play more true to life due to the time Nogster spends on player tendencies. The stars, for the most part, do what they are supposed to do in real life, and the role players play more like their real life counterpart.

I have also found Nogster's sim stats are a bit better. I love the work of both of them and you really can't go wrong with either of them.

I won't lie, I feel Rashidi's is better. They're close, I like this one because it has accurate accessories and sig styles. But I feel like Nogster isn't as committed (no offense) this year to the roster updates so it seems a bit rushed to me. And a lot of players weren't touched. Hopefully somebody with more time on their hands can go through this roster and consistently make updates.

Has he re-rated Donte Green and Ommri Casspri(sp) from Sacramento? Does Rashidi edit tendencies like Channing Frye for example? I was wondering, as I'm pretty sure my HDD has enough room for two great rosters

rashidi is incredibly meticulous with his ratings and really follows everyone closely. but on the other hand, a huge part of when you are actually playing this game and having a realistic experience is the player tendencies. he doesn't really look at these as much as nogster and the attack / pass out is a big one to look at. the best would be a roster with rashidi's ratings and nogster's tendencies. someone could easily combine them with the spreadsheets available at least. this was one of the major reasons for undergoing that part of the project. also, make sure you are using nogter's updated roster after we released this as a base. it should be very on point. people also need to realize things will be off when you've got mcgrady and yao in the lineup for example...the other big men won't be mirroring real life as much.

Let put it this way

Rashidi=Best Players ratings

Nogster=Best Players tendencies

Put both together and you have the best roster on the planet. Which im doing but its going to take a long time to finish because of my job. Lets put it this way i havent touch MW2 yet,and i have been dying to play that game.
