Fooling around with the defense to bring the FG% where it should be, along with Shot ratings.

Defense is really jacked up, ranges between 75-85 for most players. Anything less and they look like they dont even know they are on a basketball court.

Test it out, play different teams, let me know how gameplay feels so i know how much +/- room i have to play with on these defensive ratings.

Teams right now sim a little low on the Team PPG, but actual gameplay, or even CPU vs CPU its right on point.

If i can afford to up the game tempo WITHOUT losing gameplay i will for "simmed stats" purposes.

(CHI,LAC,MEM,MIA,NOH,DET,HOU,SAS,PHO,OKC) Has NOT had defensing ratings altered yet, so opp FG% may be slightly higher, but still playable.
    Thanks Neon!
I played against the Warriors with Cleveland. It was a funny(gameplay and stats really on point) game but there's a little problem with Ellis:if you give to him PG as second role, after the first subs the CPU switch Ellis at PG and Curry at SG.Always.And Ellis continues to play all the game at Pg.
I suugest to leave him SG without second role.

When do you think to have CHI,LAC,MEM,MIA,NOH,DET,HOU,SAS,PHO,OKC finished???
After editing these 10 teams is phase 2 completed???

      hey Neon,

Got a problem with the roster I uploaded just now, I realized too late that I uploaded the file I was working on with the shoes and edited ratings by mistake. I also ended up overwriting the original shoes only file. It's up to you if you want to continue to use the file I uploaded as I edited the 76ers thru Bucks ratings to get them more on point In my opinion. If not I'll just have to redo another file...

Nah, i gotta use my own now. I didntb think you were going to go in and mess with ratings and stuff (just shoes)....My ratings arent done on these rosters im testing different stuff, and teams are all on the same scale....i dont have time to be going through my ratings re-doing things.

Thanks for offering to help though brotha.

Wow i could have sworn i already had changed Ellis to SG only...Thanks for the heads up on that, if you see anything else like this let me know.

Im not 100 sure how long it will take since work will slow me down some during the week, maybe a few days, who knows. Me being done with phase 2 defensive stuff all depends on what everyone thinks as far as the on-court action so far.

If everything feels right, then i go in clean up some of the messy looking awareness ratings (but just continue to use the high 60's to high 80's scale) and then add the correct rebounding scale/attributes.

How was actual on-court action? Thats what i really need feedback on.

Trust me,on-court action is perfect since phase 1 was completed.
And this is the reason why I keep breaking your balls aking when your roster will be complete.
Your tendencies and hotspots really make THE DIFFERENCE and I see the players more reactive thanks to your new defensive stuff.

            Other two suggestions:
Scola better than Landry(for better rotation)
Thabeet has 82 in steals and 5 in block shots(2k insider's fault)

                WHAAAAAAAAAT??? LMAO!!! JUST WOW.

Anyways, I dont like the Knicks rotation in game, substitution pattern is way off. Floor combo's are just weird. Hill was in very early and before Harrington, who isnt getting in until end of 1st or even 2nd, Darko is getting in.

                To correct it:
Drop Darko and Curry to at least 64.

                Duhon 33 PG
                Chandler 35 SG/SF
                Gallinari 32 SF
                Lee 38 PF/C
                Jeffries 28 C/SF
                Robinson 24 PG/SG
                Harrington 30 PF/C
                Hughes 20 SG/SF
                Bender 0 SF
                Hill 0 C
                Douglas 0 PG/SG
                Darko 0 C
                Curry 0 C
                Landry 0

                Starters: Duhon,Chandler,Gallinari,Lee, Jeffries

On first sub (7:00-6:30 in first) Harrington comes in at PF, Lee slides to C. (Duhon,Chandler,Gallinari,Harrington,Lee)

Hughes will enter for Gallinari, Chandler slides to SF (Duhon,Hughes,Chandler,Harington,Lee)

Nate and Gallinari enter (3:00 in 1st) Nate,Hughes,Galinari,Harrington,Lee.

Jeffries in at C for Lee (Start 2nd)
                Nate,Chandler,Gallinari,Harrington,Jeffries

Duhon for Chandler, Lee for Harrington. (Early/Mid 2nd)
                Duhon,Nate,Hughes,Lee,Jeffries

                Much better.

Are YOU the Cavs? If so, Thats not a good team at all to test out how good/bad Shaq is. That is the smallest and weakest team in the L, AND they play zero defense.

You will be able to overpower them with Shaq (the stongest) all game if you chose too.

If you want to test that out play vs Kendrick Perkins or somebody. Actually any team with a Center that actually has 250-260 pounds worth of body to actually fight back. Shaq/Dwight/Yao etc...just isnt even a fair fight.

His A.I. against any team with a defensive pulse (Bos,Cle,Orl,Cha,LAL,Etc.) he normally stays around 10-15 points. Most teams will start to double if you start exploiting that matchup, GSW isnt even close to a team with a defensive pulse, they will let you score and let you run. GSW,SAC,WAS,NYK,TOR just arent going to fight you defensively.

I totally agree with you about Golden State.
However,if a big man scores 4 or 6 points in a row in the paint,at the next possession the defense sends another defender on him if he's near the low post...Golden State too.
Try to raise double team at 50???
