I played 3 quarters vs the Jazz and everything was okay as far as what you could control.

Carlos Boozer lit me up for 12 in the first and didn't see the court in the second (those are quarters, not halves). Also, Millsap didn't see the court in the first quarter. Frustrated me, as did a lot of other things, but like I said, nothing that was your doing.

Dont know why that would happen...ill check it out.

appreciate the roster work. are player role changes included in this roster?

another thread here saying just by changing player roles results in big changes for individual players.

example, changing a star player from all-around to scorer results in player attacking much more aggressively.

No it doesn't. I have Lebron as all-around and he dropped 24 pts, 7 rbs, and 5 assists ONLY in the 1st QTR. Tendencies control what the players do. He was attacking every single time too.

Yeah, they do. And I don't know if it was coincidence or not, but I went up big against Utah and Deron basically took over the game after not looking to score much in the first quarter.

Also, I played the Lakers and Odom came in at SF at one point. Kobe should be their backup SF, and his secondary position is even set to SF. I didn't know why they did that.

you could be right, but 1 qtr is a small sample size. these guys think it might be something to investigate further.

Trust me this happens every game i play against Cavs. They are the hardest team to contain for me because he drives all the time and gets a lot of and 1's. Play-Style does not affect how they play, tendencies do. What sense would there be to put tendencies there and have a style of play affect how they behave on the court?

well play styles could still have something to do with tendencies. maybe scoring guards penetrate more to score, while pass first guards penetrate to create open oppurtunities for others.

how about point forwards? maybe they recieve alot more posessions than most forwards, since they are supposed to create offense for the team like a pg would

do rebounding big men box out quicker?

i know i could be way off base here, but then again i may not.

just a few ideas, i wouldn't write this off until tested

Its all cool man. tendencies would make common sense, im just saying there is a thread discussing player "styles" , and wondered if there was something to it. those posting in that thread seem to think there is. i dont have time to test it all out, so i raised the question.

like i said, im getting good games with neon's roster at the moment, looking forward to final version for my association.

just adding to the discussion. roster gurus can figure it all out.

I need a you guys to run off a little list of guys (non PG's) that dominate the ball even as much as too run and inatiate the offense.

I recently changed the Cavs playbook to have most all plays involve the ball being handed to LBJ almost immediately after crossing halfcourt. Mo is basically playing SG now and spotting up while Bron runs things.

I made the change because Mo Williams was dominating the ball too much IMO. Also this gets LeBron a lot more involved Pts and Ast's wize.

Any other teams else need this? Think last year's Orlando Magic with Turkoglu as point forward.

Ok, i tried a million different things and the ONLY WAY to stop this from happening is to either

A.) Change Okur to PF/C and Millsap and Boozer to C/PF.
B.) Change Krylo and Kufos to PF/C, and Kirelenko to SF/PF.

On court it plays perfect, and subs are spot on.

I choose to change the 2nd since id rather them be mis-labled then the bigger names, AND they wont see the light of day at PF anyways behind Boozer and Millsap and Kirelenko.

So when they do enter, it should be at C.

If one or two of the frontcourt players get into foul trouble, the Jazz 'in theory' should move to a smaller quick lineup with AK47 at PF (Which is something they really do). Two of Mathews,Miles or Korver should be in with that lineup.

Note: If AK is rated higher than Millsap he needs to be SF only.


So until i can figure something else out...it just is what it is.

Also guys...Im testing a few more teams gameplay and there seems to be a few teams STILL paint cheesing. Cavs and Celts were two, but i think ive calmed that down a little after some playbook changes and profile inside shot edits.

Jazz and Lakers (testing now) are definately cheesing big, ill make some edits to them after this game ends. Lakers had 60 p.it.p. Jazz 52. Jazz arent that bad since they average 48 in real life. Lakers were +15 thier average though.

Lakers are running that lazer pass play where the center (bynum) dives hard down the middle of the paint and fisher drops it in for the dunk OVER AND OVER.

Im removing it.

OH....and AK47 is HUGEMONGOUS...Im going to list him back to his 218 pounds. Dude looks like Shaq out there.
