I made a thread about your problem, it's the layup ratings. They should be drastically altered.

here ya go, hope it helps. When you make the adjustments and put the layup slider in the high 40's is when it works best.
I'm still doing the free agents in my roster, but I left the formula in the thread.Comment

How come you just dont adjust your ratings so it works the first time without the sliders?Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
Most people use sliders bc it's the easiest way out. I hate em. Player A should not be punished for player B bc he is rated wrong.'Only The Strong Survive'Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
The problem with your layup edits is the layup rating actually effects what kinds of moves guys can perform in the post. Just looking at your ratings, it seems absolutely insane to rate Elton Brand higher in layups than Allen Iverson or Andre Iguodala. Completely insane.
If we were talking about low post shooting, I would agree with you, but not when it applies to layups. If you lower the layup rating for guys like AI, almost all of the layup animations will be gone from the game and we won't see any realistic moves on drives to the basket.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
The important animations depend on the package not the actual layup rating. I've seen no change in gameplay except for the removal of the gauranteed and1 animations.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
So the part where it says some layup packages require a certain layup rating (80 or above) to select isn't really accurate?Comment

U can give Wade's layup package to Thabeet if u wanted.'Only The Strong Survive'Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
Even if he has a 25 layup rating, which is why this can now be used. When the game first came out you couldn't do this but now the rating doesn't determine the type of animations, the package does.Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
Some layups are determined by rating while some are by package, so someone like AI with a 50 something layup rating will not be able to do all those fancy looking layups.'Only The Strong Survive'Comment

Re: Neon1 2k10 (360)
But i think the rating number is still what actually triggers the animation. So it may still be in the package, but that doesnt exactly mean the animation will actually show up.Comment
